Great performance all round. Bogdan and Dervite men o' the match. We need a big strong striker like the SKD of old. Heskey did ok but Eidur was blowing from every orifice early on.

Superb day out that we definitely have our club back, really glad my lad has a team/club to be proud of again. Under Freedman we (as in the fans) weren't pulling all together, fighting between ourselves now we are all behind the manager and players and its fantastic. Just watched it back on BT and quite rightly they were praising our support and performance. Proud to be a white.Also Anfield seems to get smaller, shittier and quieter every time I go, it really isn't a special place like the media love in would have you believe, I reckon just as many day trippers as the Swamp.

I made the decision to walk back to Lime Street after the match (cheap bastard). It was only when we got to Goodison I realised we were walking in the wrong direction! Plenty of Wanderers in that wetherspoons when we got back, almost an hour after ft.

We walked wrong way for a while too, but got in a taxi. Also went in some scouse pub near the ground pre match and actually used fake scouse accents to get served. These are the days!

I feel sorry for the plastic scousers seduced by the 80s success they come from far and wide hoping and praying that the past glories will return they've not a clue about supporting a proper club a local club the ups and the downs. I watched them sat on there hands gazing misty eyed at our incredible passion and support (they don't get it) and there eyes and souls were empty devoid of any feeling for the game folk from Milton Keynes, Wrexham, Barrow, Preston and dare I say it Bolton divorced from there community sharing some pathetic quest for glory, watching a club that really they have no connection with only some diminishing past glory that somehow makes them feel worthwhile. Sad as fuck.

Caught a special bus a short walk from the stadium. £2 straight to Lime St. I think I was one of the first on the platform.

A great, battling & committed performance with nothing to criticise, players ,management or fans.

 

Special praise for Moxey who got thrown in the deep end but was very good, the excellent Bogdan who would have been m-o-m but that would make it look like we only survived because of our keeper...not true...,.so m-o-m goes to Danns who seemed to be fighting for every ball & winning most of them.
