  • Works wonders for Andy Carroll.

  • Isn't time the fitness gurus and physios took a look at the warm up and stretching exercises?  I simply don't understand why our players pick up so many hamstring injuries.  It must be more than a VER

Fucks sake, he's been fantastic for us over the last few weeks. Big blow.

Yep, we need to replace that energy in midfield.

With Trotter

The lad himself must be gutted after hitting his best form recently , hope he heals quickly.

Clearly our medical team at fault yet again.

Vela could also move forward, given the signing of the lad from utd. Depends how nl sees it

so soon into second half-you may be right. That said there was talk on the radio the other day about whether the cold weather is affecting players and contributing to hamstrings etc. Perhaps shouldn't but I'm sure it does, especially around this time of year with a lot of games

Big shame, he's been a revelation under Lennon.

Vela in to midfield and McNaughton at RB is my prediction.

I thought should have been the plan when Prats departed.

Bloody hell, he was in his best form for us. I will bring my boots for the next match, don't seem to have enough players fit!!

I thought should have been the plan when Prats departed.

That was the general consensus around us as well. Moxey was a bit left field (no pun intended) and didn't do a bad job, but Trotter and Danns definitely missed Pratley's workload.

and craig davies - did he come back too soon?

should he not have been asked to play 90 minutes on a heavy pitch so early in his comeback

i know needs must n all that but its a proper pisser

Gutted. Massive blow get well soon Pratters!

i think i will get a game before mcnaughton

We will cope as Lennon is our leader.

Do the physios get them playing too early or are the players themselves their own worst enemy.

I've had various sessions of physiotherapy and every single time it's been up to me to say what hurts and what doesn't. If I've reported all being OK then I get discharged. If I've reported all is OK when really it isn't I'll still get discharged.

Little whitt, wrong discharge.

We've got three midfielders signed in this window so should be enough cover now.

How many left?

What's the differential in wages?

he said we had 640 when he got here

Wonder how many he actually thought were any good

About 3 and a half

Weak hamstrings is a key indicator of ACL injuries as well.

Something we should be looking at IMO.
