SatanGreavsie Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 1994ish. They played in green and we won 2-0 How the fuck do people remember stuff like this? I've been going to games for 38 years and I can't remember what I had for tea yesterday. Quote

jules_darby Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Not overly impressed with anyone from tonight's Dev Squad game; least of all Medo and Twardzik Kellett looks tidy but let a nippy winger get around him a couple of times and deliver balls too easily (ever an issue with our fullbacks?!) Nobody on show tonight that I would be excited about pushing the first team, Kellett excepted really Quote

Enter Zachary Clough Quote
jules_darby Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 That Woolery lad not up to much Jules Lively but not a lot of product. Difficult to say on one showing to be fair Brought down for the pen Kellett was brought down for what should have been a pen too but it wasn't given Can see Kellett LM not LB We had a CB who looked the spit of Baptiste; Alex Finney....he had a presence. Niall Maher did too but he was a bit clumsy on the ball Twardzik is an absolute shocker Lussey and Ceberio didn't do much really Quote
Guest Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I would suggest that those playing in the reserves squad now are probably the ones Neil Lennon wants out or considers not ready for the first team yet. I'm surprised Kellett is in there and not around the first team as I thought he had something about him. But I can't see him being in the plans giving how things seem to be shaking up. Quote

Guest GudniB Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Message off anewman.... Out in Austria two whites fans were out there didn't know them but one was a very short elderly bloke. Got chatting to him and he was Bob on, saw him at airport on the Tuesday on way home said tarra etc and went out seperate ways. Just been told his wife found him dead that night heart attack. Do anyone know who this could be? Bad shit That would be Colin (Styan). A member of Lancaster Whites and regular on its away coaches for the last fifteen years, Colin was well-liked and well respected and will be really missed by us all not least his regular travelling pal, Shaun. Though Colin lived in Bolton he was a great supporter of Lancaster Whites and regularly (with Shaun) attended our functions in Lancaster. I would have expected to see him at our Annual Dinner this Saturday which Neil Lennon has agreed to attend. We will be thinking of him and his family and remembering him with great affection. Quote

Biggish Dave Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 If it's who it sounds like, I knew Colin - travels to games with his son who is quite a bit taller? Either way, whether it is the Colin I know or not, RIP. Sad news Quote

It was my grandad that took me to Burnden Park in the early 1950s and was responsible for my life long devotion to BWFC. Quote

jonnycooper Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Is Clough still not fit? Or is it too big a risk in case we get a bid? Quote
Guest Blixa Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Is Clough still not fit? Or is it too big a risk in case we get a bid? He's been sold to United for a small bag of cash, around £4 million. Keep it to yourself. Quote
awandering Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Still persevering with Twardzik at left back I see Quote
