Player contracts end on June 30th.

 

Come July 1st, there will be a gazillion free agents without clubs, in as much of a panic to get sorted out as we are to get players in.

Word on the street (Twitter Avenue) is that Pratley is about to sign for Ipswich. Mixed feelings on him leaving; very impressed at times last season and was very glad he overcame some horrendous stick early on in his Wanderers career, but would like to think a player like him is replaceable - its not like he's been ripping up trees for us since day one.

We are allegedly offering Pratley good money, not Prem money. Sounds like he's being touted elsewhere by his people which is fair enough. But I'll be surprised if Ipswich are offering a pile of cash. I reckon it's still 50/50.

I can't see another club offering Pratley more than around 12k a week, I bet our offer isn't far from that figure too. I'm glad the club are sticking to their guns for a change.

Issue for Pratley is that this is his last contract anywhere in effect. So he's obviously going to try and get as good as he possibly can. Really can't blame him.

Pratley and Bogdan can go for me these players are not good enough to hold us to ransom if I were Lennon I'd say you've got 48 hours to decide then the offers off the table.

He got stock because he was rubbish for 2 and 1/2 years he then got his form when he found his level in championship he's not worth 10k a week never mind 12k fuck him off. These players need a reality check.

Aye and our form without him was stellar. If players go to premiership clubs that is one thing. But if we are losing our better first team players to championship rivals that can in no way be a good thing.

Pratley was one of the few none defensive players who offered us any physicality
