I tend to agree, I don't know why people think that there would be loads of clubs queueing up to offer Lennon a job. His record with us, thus far, has been average at best in reality

 

maybe not loads of clucs, but newcastle is a bigger club than us. triple wages, premier league and bigger budget. that's why he's going there. who would blame him

It does strike me as odd as they are one of the club's with a smaller budget than us. Seems odd no one more substantial has picked it up

Maybe he just fancies a club that won't boo him after two bad games.

 

I hope he stays but could have no problem with him wanting to move on.

This booing thing is being overstated - there were a few dicks, as there always are (at every club), let's not make it out to be more than that. There are too many folk on here ready to have a pop at our support. Given most of the shite we've had to put up with since Sam left (apart from a relatively brief Coyle honeymoon period and a few green shoots under Lenny), I think our fans have been remarkably patient. Speaking of Sam, ask him what he makes of us compared with Hammers and Toon fans - both of whom were constantly calling for his head - the former after he'd got them promoted at first time of asking and into the top 10...all because they apparently weren't playing the 'West Ham way'. Wankers.
