Guest Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I would not be surprised if you have sold your season tickets for the next 5 years, all clubs secure loans against them. PS Don't tell Mounts, it'll only upset him! Quote
ZiggyStardust Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Not sure how it works differently in football, but if a business goes into administration, all monies owed now or in the future go to the receiver for distribution amongst the creditors - whoever owns BWFC2016 wouldnt see a penny of any sell on fee for ZC Complete side question, would those who had paid ST in full at the start of the season be one of the creditors, or would those on DD still be expected to continue paying until the end of the season (Assuming its a new company/no club) at the end of the week. bwfc2003 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) Feels like a sideways move for him. However Bogdan & LCY's careers have hardly gone upwards since their moves. If he goes, then best of luck to the lad, hopefully theres a huge fuckoff sell on arrangement in there somewhere. Sorry DP Edited January 11, 2016 by bwfc2003 Quote
passmosster Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 If there's a % payout in admin to the creditors of whom ED dwarfs the others, wouldn't he get more than selling to someone and writing off the debt even if the £3m loan that has suddenly jumped out of the woodwork is repaid? Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 If we have a clean sweep of current board and supporters trust are involved at board level I'll be in even if its the west lancs league, Quote
Cheese Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) Gave them enough ideas in the past when we had meetings with them and fellow WWs they decided 3 years later to implement said ideas and patted themselves on the back that they'd come up with them. I'm no rocket scientist but in short the muppets who run/ran the marketing merchandise departments are or were a bit fucking thick. What's that got to do with it? You said you could do a better job than Trevor Birch is currently doing. Edited January 11, 2016 by Cheese Quote

As he's done fuck all but sell assets at less than going rate it shouldn't be too difficult. He's employed to sell the club he's failed, he's also employed to mazimise assets for sale he's failed. Folk getting paid for failure are part of what's got us where we are and we're still doing it. It's not difficult failing and picking up a big pay cheque, I could easily do that. Sweep Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Say 5,000 sign up. At £300 a pop. £1.5m in cash. We wouldn't get even close to a quarter of that number willing to stump up £300 in cash now, and I wouldn't blame them either Quote

And I dont see a queue of clubs willing to pay £10m for Clough, indeed it appears theres only one club willing to pay £2m. While I agree with you in that its terribly gutting to see ZC go for so little, I'm not sure theres much anyone (inluding TB) can do to up that price. Every player, at every club (including Messi & Ronaldo) have a price that clubs cannot turn down, it seems that in our case its lower that we could hope for. Quote
Horwich Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Can we not sell clough to chorley for £100. Go into admin. Get him back sometime in future? Quote

I think this is the issue, there doesn't seem to be any interest in Clough apart from Bristol City - if we had one or two more interested, we might see the price go a little higher. I'm surprised, as they're the only horse in the race at present that Bristol have started as high as £2M to be honest. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Give us a clue. How would you go about the job? First port of call would be to tell ED he's in danger of cutting his own throat, as he's created a shit storm that only leads to selling assets at bottom value. There could have been a sensible reduction of overheads and selling assets and that might have meant Eddie needed to put a little bit in so that the asset value were protected while we disposed of assets in an orderly and structured fashion. It's crazy that a wealthy successful businessman has taken this route utter car crash stuff. Quote
ZiggyStardust Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Marc Iles @MarcIles Another little gem. Dorian Dervite offered to Bulgarian giants Levski Sofia, according to peeps over there #bwfc Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) And if Eddie Davies says "No"? He then deserves everything he's currently experiencing, one loss after another the value of his asset is plummeting every day and the debt is increasing every week. TB getting paid to oversee this car crash behavior and makes no sense whatsoever. Edited January 11, 2016 by Mounts Kipper Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 He's only after £1 for it I think the value of his asset can't get any lower unless he pays someone the money to buy him out It is a car crash though your right there Quote
jagermoot Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 If ED has invested money in us as loans, wont he be recieving cash for anything when assets are sold to pay back investors? Quote

Sweep Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 He's only after £1 for it He wanted 20 million not long back. As I mentioned earlier, he really might not give a toss any more. He might be more than happy for the club to enter administration now, so that he can wipe his hands of the whole sorry mess that it's become. I'm sure that he just really wants shut now. I'm sure he won't be in the poor house, he'll still have 10's of millions (if he hasn't, then he's been very silly indeed) One day, I'm sure it'll all come out why and how we have found ourselves in this predicament - I'm not talking about the "debt" that may or may not exist, I'm talking about coming to a point where we don't have a pot to piss in and cant even pay wages to the employees (only a few months after offering deals to Amos and Pratley) Quote
Bigtoe Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 On a side note The money that was raised by supporters for staff in December.. is that still in a pot in case they get nowt in January or has it been dished out to charity? I havent heard any more about it. Quote
