Don't really understand the criticism of Trevor Birch and co.

 

He's been bought in to sort out a big fuck off mess and skipper a sinking ship.

 

His remit was to find help find investment and deal with situation if we couldn't. He's doing just that. We need to sell players and assets to keep the club becoming insolvent. We run at a million loss per month and can no longer afford to pay staff or players.

 

A fire sale is the only way to stop us going under and pay for voluntary admin.

 

Look at Birch's track record and the clubs he's worked with and it may give some indication as to why it was him bought in.

 

Since he's come,he's uncovered a complicated mess in our accounts and has taken them to be analysed by forensic accountants to try and sort the mess out. This is fact not conjecture.

 

There is not one single investor that has offered to buy the club lock stock and barrel. Not one. So what else do you want him to do?

 

He's already skipped a months pay for players. Then he skipped a months pay for staff. Then he used PFA money to pay the players to stop em walking. Now he's selling players and offices to pay them again.

 

We have no money so need to sell things so we have money.

I'd go as far to say birch is doing a great job. Raising funds and working hard contacting investors.

 

I understand he takes on tricky situations but I bet ours is more complicated (always the Bolton way)

Just don't understand the reason why 48 hours is the deadline for admin.

 

Why now? How many adjournments did Northampton get on their winding up petition from the revenue?
