Cheese Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko 51m51 minutes ago Zach Clough. Going down to Bristol City for talks. Shame for the kid that he's being shown the door to keep his club going. Quote
Whites man Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Come on Wolves, if you are going to get £10m for Afobe get some of that spent on Cloughy. Quote
gonzo Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I couldn't give two shites who he's joining. He may as well be at Bristol than pissing about with our bunch of clowns. Go and have a year there and move somewhere else. Fuck me he's not signing for life. Good move IMO. It's the best he could hope for at this present time. Quote
kent_white Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Come on Wolves, if you are going to get £10m for Afobe get some of that spent on Cloughy. Fuck that - it's bad enough him joining Bristol - never mind those cunts! Quote
burnden Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Not sure about the best he could hope for , i would have thought a prem team would have took a punt on him at that money . Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Not arsed where he goes as long as we get a decent fee if they flog him for £10m in two years time, something not beyond the realms of possibility when bearing in mind Benik fucking Afobe. Quote

Shame for the kid that he's being shown the door to keep his club going. Being shown the door? Accepting a bid for him is hardly showing him the door. If he's been told in no uncertain terms that he has to go then that's out of order, but ultimately it's his choice Quote

kent_white Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 He did to go he's being forced out the door. This the final straw for many. Shameful. Even if he's not - I imagine the conversation has gone something like 'It's up to you Zach - but the club might fold if the deal doesn't go through' Horrible position for the lad - this is pure purgatory. mickbrown Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 The thing that gets on my tits, more than anything else, is that there are folk who have earned a bloody good living running the club into the ground. We're here because of incompetence. And that incompetence has been rewarded with big fuck off salaries. It stinks. Quote

He's completely reversed and more any good he did for us. Left us in a worse position than when he arrived. Edited January 10, 2016 by Mounts Kipper Quote
L/H White Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Selling an injury prone player, I don't know what all the fuse is about Good business Hopefully Clayton can be offloaded next Quote

I can see where your coming from he has overseen the death knell of love for our club for thousands of fans who've been there for years and years, so much so I just don't recognize our club any more only the superb fans are left, the owner has no morals no pride or passion for the club he said he loved he's left a shell of a club. xxxxxx Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Clough joining Bristol would be an awful for his development. I can't believe he's actually going to talk to them. He deserves a much better team. Anyway, the board have a lot to answer for. I can't believe we have to sell our best players to pay off the taxman. At this point in time, I couldn't care about admin because I believe we'll go into it anyway. We're so far off getting new owners that admin is inevitable. Quote

If you've fallen out with football fair enough but but it looks like you're not just comparing apples with oranges you're comparing apples with a cheese burger. Anderson Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I feel so bad for the lad, he doesn't deserve to be given this sort of decision to make, he's taking a massive hit to his personal happiness and development to go to a club hundreds of miles away from his family and friends all because the club he's given 10 years to can't afford not to offload him. I'm massively disillusioned with all of this and in the end it won't even stave off administration, we're still fucked except now we have less tools to mount a comeback. I wish I didn't fucking care so much. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I hated watching last night's nfl. Mainly due to the steelers nearly fucking it up until the Bungles imploded. I'm enjoying this spurs v Leicester game though, a lot more than the big team Vs minnows games. Quote

Was lucky enough to go over last year for a couple of games and don't forget the Wembley games so not totally hands off TV experience. I have fallen out with football overall and binned Premier League off but what has happened to my local club has pushed me over the edge. Also might be at that stage where I'm sick and tired of my weekend being ruined and being in a bad mood for days. A cheeseburger sounds good right now. We have been shit before and I have followed them up and down but what Mick says is right, incompetence has got us hear and the folk who have done it have profited ,your Gartside's and Warburton and other board members you will not see for dust with their pockets full. It stinks Quote
