He works in the benefits office.

I wonder if any other club will get the sympathy Liverpool have, when bigger clubs start taking their players.

Nobody will bad an eye when Clough or Kane are going to bigger and richer clubs on a bigger stage.

Agree with this. The why wouldnt you want to leave Liverpool debate? City are a bigger club and will win more trophies. The media can't have it both ways.

"It's the nature of it. The players will want to compete at the highest level they possibly can."

City not a bigger club nowhere near as big as Liverpool but I agree they will win more trophies.

Liverpool are the biggest club in this country for me....but players dont sign for history, they may peddle that stuff when they sign to appease tye fans.

Its about money and winning stuff and champs league, non of which Liverpool are offering, City offer all 3.

....and that's why they lose their best players and sign folk the big clubs don't want.

Depends what you class as big I suppose. Ok my wording would of been better if I said where I'd rather play for the next ten years.

All this bigger club stuff is nonsense. The bigger club in this sense is the one with the most money and hence more likely to win trophies today. Man City are bigger, it really is that simple. History is irrelevant to players in this context.

He should cover the windows with copies of The Sun. That'll scare 'em off.

I've seen suggestions that a Liverpool player could be implicated in financial irregularities in connection with an earlier transfer.

Don't know whether there is any merit in it, or whether (and when) it may get to court, or for how long he might be sidelined.

Might not be a bad thing loaning Wilkinson out, 50K fee isn't going to get us very far, so hopefully, Wilkinson can bang a few goals in at Barnsley and we might get more for him.
