Surely Remi "Dogshit" Moses?

Fonze Goodman

think the difference would be that Cardiff paid a fee for him, dunno how much, but he's got 2 years left and right now, if you were them you'd hold probably out for a fee in July

Cardiff probably aren't as skint as us, so not as desperate

if he's gone nowhere later on in the season, a loan may be possible

like you, I like him, so I just hope it happens for us

I like him a lot as well he's exactly what we need but the same could be said for the Juke and that didn't happen and ALF I fear won't happen unless it's a loan deal and Cardiff subsidise his wages.

i still dont think hes what we need

sell clough and buy alf and the juke and clear the debt, ill think different

i dont see how you squeeze clayton, clough, alf and a lump into the team

Only one of those three is proven

ALF is a goal poacher which we need.

But we have no money so its not going to happen.

Only one of those three is proven

thats true

its also proven that playing diddymen up top doesnt bring many wins

there were some dire efforts last season until we chucked on heskey or davies

we need a lump and im not sure we can get two up top with le fondre

anyway, you keep banging your cautionary drum over clough, i'll sit confidently waiting for him to play for england while alf bums around division 2

clayton could be anything, including distinctly average

Only one of those three is proven

Proven to what extent? Wasn't ALF's best season in this division primarily one as a super sub coming off the bench for Reading?

I like him but I think Clough is key, if he maintains form we will do well. If he doesn't we won't. See the end of the last season with no Clough..... Therefore I think we need to give Clough the best platform to perform.

At best ALF is a good goalscorer in this league. At best Clough is potentially the best player in this division period.

Only one of those three is proven

Very true, but to play devils advocate, only 2 of those have the potential to be sold on for big money which is exactly the way we now need to think.

If bringing in ALF means that those 2 wouldn't play as much then I think we need to take the risk with those 2 in the hope that a big club starts waving the cash about.

I think Clayton played left last season clough could play in the hole and ALF and Madine up top, that works for me.

Woah woah woah, I wasn't saying ALF over Clough

I just think it's dangerous to rely on the lad

Or Clayton

ALF is at best a good goal scorer in this league...none of the others are likely to be goalscorers really. And I still think if Clough becomes the best 10 in the league or whatever, we need goals in us from a real striker. Look, maybe Madine will provide it; if he does that's ideal as we could certainly play with him and Clough.

Eddie is of course right from a financial/investing perspective too, ALF would have little to no sell on value I'm sure

Cassie, you were also waiting for Freedman to get it right. Let's hope this time there is an end to the waiting eh?

Re: your Diddy men

Walker and McGinlay were both under 5'10

Height alone is too simplistic an argument

As it stands, will be Madine with Clough playing off him. Clayton out wide left,

Madine tires, stick on Heskey, Clayton also seems capable of playing the the role, so can swap with Clough.

Davies in he middle with Vela

If that lot stay fit and we can sort defence we won't be too dissimilar then every other team in championship

You still have Pratley to fit in there somewhere, I had a thought yesterday everyone wants a Le Fondre type for Clough to play with or to play off Madine, why not Clayton?

Definitely more than capable playing up top and think he did quite often for Crewe and it frees up space for Kellet and Walker on the left.

And didsy on the right, how did we win games with those 3.???? I used to love playing with clever little players and I love to watch that type of player now.

Everyone already thinks Sterling is a cunt, including all the Liverpool fans I work with.

Please show proof of Liverpool fans working!!! Or are they not scousers?

Sterling and his next club V rest of English football.

I'm not convinced he's that good, soft as shit, is there for a good clattering I reckon?

I wonder if any other club will get the sympathy Liverpool have, when bigger clubs start taking their players.

Nobody will bad an eye when Clough or Kane are going to bigger and richer clubs on a bigger stage.
