Why turn out at a kids pre season game to throw abuse of a sectarian nature at a manager? It literally is absolute mentalist behaviour. I'd just have anyone doing that sectioned as you've got to seriously have problems if you're behaving like that.

I was with 4 or 5 of the Walkden lads 1 who served in Northern Ireland none of them even in passing mentioned NL religion and 1 of them kept saying how impressed he was Lennon turned up at such a low key match, let's not tar all Walkden whites with the same brush.

I was one who wasn't overly keen on his appointment due to his past form of volatility but if he's heard the insults and not waded in then he's clearly a changed man and fair play to him.
