Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

Is this a spoof? If not it's going to go down like a lead ballon with many.

fcuk em

i cant find anywhere that our amir is likely to be worth any more than 20 million

but if he drags in other monies...

This is the stuff of extremely strong drug trips.

Alledgely....

The club will go into administration.

The club will be worth next to nothing and the be taken over by the new consortium.

There, the cat out of the bag.

So that means we would have to take a 10pt hit with immediate effect as well. Splendid.

And when it comes  right down to it, all because we hired Coyle and then Freedman.

Has Amir submitted plans yet for the Horwich Super Mosque on one of the clubs car parks?

Still can't see it

Who will force us into administration? The pay day lender or ED

Surely they would just flog some land of cheap, I.e euxton

Not sure why we would get this birch fella in one minute then fuck him off to hand over the running of the club to an administrator soon after

Never mind all that shit, when it really comes down to it we are where we are because we didn't fix the roof while the sun was shining. We should have spent the millions on the youth system and training ground when Allardyce was here, used our momentum to fund our own development not pissed it away over the years on overpriced old guys. They obviously gave us some amazing times in the short term but were never going to lead to long term success without building a foundation behind the scenes.

Not sure how long the sun would have been shinning had we adopted your strategy

Do you think we would have stayed up for 10 years without some of the veterans that came in (youri, campo, speed, JJB etc)

I don't

We'd have probably had two or three years at the most

In which case we probably wouldn't have as good a set up as we do have now at euxton and lostock

I was of the understanding that our facilities are top notch now after years of Prem investment?

When Carlos said every Bolton celebrity but Fred Dibnah I thought well there is Amir Khan too. Bloody ell what next, Max and Paddy on the door to the Hotel match days?

I hear Stu Francis is chipping in with some crushed grapes and ripped tissues.

He's boycotting it as he's not involved in the panto. Carlos ITK.

I hear talk that Paul Nicholls is dusting off his old gingham Wanderers shirt and is poised to be given a place on the board

Even if ED is getting out how does going into Admin help his position ?

Does he not just lose his money ?

"Bolton are staring at an uncertain future with £2172.9m debts"

Eh?

The 2 is a typo

But you knew that

Even if ED is getting out how does going into Admin help his position ?

Does he not just lose his money ?

The administrator will be tasked with selling the business either as a going concern, or selling off the assets individually. Money he takes in, less his expenses will be divied up among all creditors with usually first dibs going to any preferred creditors (of which ED may be one)

he doesn't lose anymore? which presumably he is so long as he can't shift it? short term pain, long term gain?

there was something about interest payments somewhere so think he's got some of his money back, or something

A club goes into Admin it owes money to someone it can not repay, so that is ED.

If he is selling the club before it goes into admin surely it is worth more without a 10 point deduction, he could sell off the assets now as owner.

I must be missing something, if Admin is now a worry,

I'm beyond being bothered now, whatever happens needs to happen quickly. If that means administration and a 10pt deduction, then crack on. Hopefully then we can start to rebuild and move on. If that means getting relegated, then so be it, as we're headed that way as things stand anyway

same here, am really not arsed, the finances were never in our control really

we've had the statement we wanted to explain why things have been so quiet

there's a new bloke been brought in who specialises with this sort of shit scenario

nowt changes on or off the pitch

that will only happen if/when ED is rid of the club

hopefully sooner rather than later

till then, business as usual

Talksport. Between now and when they go off air Hawksbey & Jacobs are doing a bit on the "takeover".
