There seem to be 3 bids knocking about, it feels like one of those property shows on telly

 

Bid 1 - involves an ex player, who runs a sports management club and has some apparently dodgy connections, or he does now he is bidding for the club, then a load of unknown backers

 

Bid 2 - involves an ex player and then just unknown backers

 

Bid 3 - involves the same as bid 2 without the ex player

 

It is hardly a list to inspire.

FWIW Nixon says were no further on with this as no money seems to be forthcoming. As I see it the stadium all the clubs land and property is underwritten to Nucleus Finance for the pitiful sum of 3.5 million pounds, the academy and the land nearby is under written to Brett Warburton for a couple of million. Now if I was Nucleus finance I would be rubbing my hands at the thought of getting my hands on the stadium/ and car park I would be ringing the demolition company right now. However I am 100% sure that someone will come in at the last minute and steal it for a £1.

If the land and ground is underwritten to anyone and we were to sell it, we only repay the loans and interest they do not get the whole thing.

 

There be penalty clauses, but if you have a mortgage for 100k on a house worth £200k and it is repossessed you still get you equity back minus whatever charges are included.

 

Sure there are some construction types on here that could say how expensive it would to knock down the ground.

 

It would ironic if we sold the land and replaced with a new purpose built ground just off St Peters Way, near Manchester Road, you know where I mean.
