Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

  • So a bloke who gave us £150million is asking that his contribution be remembered by naming a room after him. Not a stand or the entire stadium. A room.   He's also asking that instead of getting his

Creditors?

Forgetting the players, ED is the major creditor

But he's a traitor, of course

#shakeshead

Your entitled to your opinion as am I and eddies a saint#shakeshead.

Can you check that link Mounts

Sorted.

This not knowing Disley is nonsense

The guy sat on his other side is Mike Collins

If these are our preferred buyers, we really are fucked. Some 2 Bob cunts who live the high life at the expenses of the rest of us. Scumbags.

Truly fucked is what we are

yeah, but apart from that

City badges on his Facebook profile.  Apart from that I know nowt.

Truly fucked is what we are

Looks like we're fucked if they come in......and fucked if they don't

In summary, it seems that we are fucked

It's the sheer amount of cash needed for this to happen and stabilise the club is what suggests to me this isn't going to happen.

£10 million down payment to keep the lights on.

£2 to HMRC

And then whatever the cost of the club is.

That's before you've even put your words number 1 dad mug on your desk.

Then they have to be prepared to run at a loss for the foreseeable future.

There's no way a ruffian family of cowyed a have that sort of cash. Not a a chance.

i'll be the hero and chuck that in

£2 million or 600k won't make any difference really, we haven't a bean and any outstanding money owed to Hmrc will be subject to surcharges and interest.

HMRC would rather get something than scramble for next to nothing. There is a deal to be done there.

Disley owned the nightclub ampersand

Collins dad has the grey man in daisy hill

He said to a few lads in the cricket club at DHCC that he was close to a deal around bonfire night.

New sponsors?

Seriously though

How on gods earth are they anywhere near a deal?

They are tyre kickers at best, complete con men at worst. I can't understand how they are even getting a mention

It reminds me of a tale an Oldham fan pal of mine told me, they got a new owner in with all these big plans. They knocked one side of the ground down ready to redevelop into a big new main stand then the guy got found out as he didn't have a pot to piss in. They ended up with only 3 sides of the ground for ages - that's a cold ground at the best of times without missing a whole stand

Some bloke from Daisy Hill who's dad owns a boozer ain't quite the Russian oligarch I was hoping for.

Disley owned the nightclub ampersand

I only found out recently that an ampersand was one of these = &

I also only found out recently that your bath plug fits in the overflow hole thingy beneath your taps.

Like a little bath plug holder.

How come the HMRC position is in the public domain?

Hope the Times haven't got any confidential info from HMRC.

If so it is at very least a disciplinary perhaps a criminal offence.

£2m may be owing, but what is overdue?

Myself I am surprised nobody has come in who can do a bit with the property portfolio whilst isolating the football club bit.

Perhaps that is the Holdsworth play.

It's why the Thais bought Reading, much to their regret.

a fellow poster did suggest to me a couple of weeks ago there may be some jiggery pokery which separated the football club from the business, if you get my drift

sort of thing we'd frown on by anybody else
