Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

  • So a bloke who gave us £150million is asking that his contribution be remembered by naming a room after him. Not a stand or the entire stadium. A room.   He's also asking that instead of getting his

Are you basing this purely on the fact that we haven't heard anything? - I not sure we've heard anything from the Holdsworth consortium either, so surely they're going about their business in the right way as well. I'm hoping people aren't worried about the Holdsorth bid based purely on who he was sat next to at a football match

No

It's on his Wembley miss, Shirley? :D

Nothing to do with the fella he is sat next to, and nothing to substantiate it with. It's just a gut feeling I'm getting.

Oh dear.

Im with Mounts on this.

Something about the Holdsworth bid doesn't sit right with me.

Without knowing the details of any of the bids, and none of us do, I'm happy to let it ride and hope somebody takes us over before administration hits.......then worry about it at a later date. No matter who comes in, if somebody does, we're taking a leap into the unknown

Have you got a spare bedsheet?

I'm usually the last to pull out my grey marl joggers but I have a pitch fork at the ready & it'll be aimed at the wife beater's arse. That's for Wembley you bastard!

I understand all that and I'm willing to give who ever comes in a chance to sort things out.

Also things on the pitch are very likely to get worse before they get better.

I'm normally one of the happiest of happy clappers and try and see the positive in all things bwfc related, but the Holdsworth bid doesn't fill me with confidence.

I knew stockpiling all those pitchforks would pay off for you, I reckon with the past few years gardening/farming tool inflation, you'll make a killing

That is when we hit the big time, when he appeared in 'stenders with then gingham away top on

Wasnt even the right Paul Nicholls!

It was some old duffer that played Kathy Beales gangster boyfriend recently.

Not a Bolton away shirt or tinfoil hat in sight :(

The sad thing about all this turnover bit is that however gets it they are here solely for the money and would flatten the ground if things dont turn round quickly

Happy clappy is the only option for me. My brain has been that frazzled with negativity surrounding everything BWFC for too long, the asset stripping chancer owner would finish me off.

Really? I thought they closed most of the shops down.

I am liking it how Stelios is handling his bid he's saying very little seems he's going about his business the right way. I'm hoping he's got decent backing and if he has he'd get my vote.

Your know as much as I do about all the bids - and I know fuck all.

Yeah they had to close some of the modelling shops down a while ago

he's on chatting terms with nixon

So in sports shield we have Micheal and Lindsey Collins that both went insolvent in 2014.

Possibly involved is a con man that never had any cash anyway.

I just hope Lindsey's brother Simon Hickey from Westhoughton isn't involved :(

(Google him haha)

Now he is a nice chap

That makes four of us. It's all a bit chancer-ish for me.

Hope to fuck im wrong, but have a horrible gut feeling

Have you got info the rest of us haven,t, or is it just a dislike of Holdsworth re Wembley.

im saying very little about my bid, too

same reason as stelios, i reckon

I don't believe in co-incidences.

When you have a bloke notorious (and jailed) for buying up struggling businesses and stripping them and using their name for fraudulant purposes, sat next to a guy leading a consortium it raises eyebrows.

When they are sat next to each other at a struggling business that is actively looking for a buyer, alarm bells start to ring.

It *MAY* have been a coincidence, but I feel its unlikely.
