It's strange you slate Lennon so powerfully who's doing a job with little moral support or financial backing yet choose to defend the job done by Gartside which has brought us where we are today.

He's from Ipswich... He's clearly in love with Barry Knight...

He's a she, and her career started in Reading.

Can someone explain to a dyed in the wool PAYE type how multi-millionaire owners of businesses can legally be allowed to fuck it up to such an extent they can't pay the tax or staff wages??

We have pretty much guaranteed income streams so surely the board/owner can have no excuses for not operating within these parameters.

So while staff don't get paid and the tax payer doesn't get their share what is the actual cummopence for those responsible for the total mismanagement of a business?

I am not intimating any illegality here either; just rank incompetence!!!

Companies can make people redundant as they see the shit coming. When players are on huge wages with long term contracts there's more of a problem

November tax bill overdue and a winding up petition issued?

I personally know that far worse cases have had no petition issued.

A closet red at HMRC?

I thought that but do they make an exception of its over a certain amount?

Also with regards to it being a football club and them no longer being a preferred creditor it may make them more trigger happy

At this point I'll give highlights of Lin Homer's work this century.

1998 Chief Executive, Suffolk County Council (based in Ipswich)

2002 Chief Executive, Birmingham City Council

criticised by the Election Commissioner over postal vote-rigging scandal in 2004 when she was Returning Officer as "an election that would disgrace a banana republic.

2005 Director-General, Immigration & Nationality Directorate, which in 2008 was renamed UK Border Agency

criticised by Chairman of Parliamentary Committee on Home Affairs for "catastrophic leadership failure" and "more like a Whitehall farce than a Government Agency operating in the 21st century."

2010 Permanent Secretary (head civil servant) of Department of Transport

while there the cock-up over the West Coast Main Line franchise letting cost £100M.

2011 Chief Executive, HMRC.

Not my kind of person, let's hope she improves

Fairplay to the geezer who's donated £1000 in the just giving oage that's doing the rounds.

I was thinking Birch has this all mapped out and that we would avoid administration through player sales, asset sales, but I now believe we will enter administration, if that's the case what a waste of time bringing Birch in, waste of time borrowing the money off nucleus and BW. Thoroughly pissed off.

Thought the debt was not real, we were told that enough. Never thought we would be unable to pay our own players. Never thought we would get a winding up order. Never thought we would go ito administration. And people still think there is a plan?? Eddies plan is to get rid, he might try to do what's best for the club but but might come down to least bad deal.

If and I know it's a big if, Eddie ends up letting in Holdsworth's mob and they strip us bare, what legacy will he have left? He will be seen as the man who ruined BWFC. He might as well as spent money on the town and left a building, street or park in his name like Lord Leverhulme. What a waste.

I was thinking more C Montgomery Burns with Trevor Birch as Smithers.....

Anybody else think PG might have been the only thing stopping this process happening much earlier?

In what way? Good way or bad way (as if I need to ask?)

Euxton or Clough could still be sold. Don't panic!

What is clough worth after half a dozen games and 2 lengthy injuries?

Probably around £500K if we're very lucky......if we go into administration he could be sold for an awful lot less than that

My guess because players wages don't track income and it his toy and if doesn't want to put anymore batteries in it then it stops working

the ongoing promise of ever increasing £milions if you stay in the premier?

the promise of £milions if you get back into the premier?

the risk of never getting back to the £milions if you dont get back to premier?

can you imagine the cry from the fans if we actually only spent what we could afford to in the last few years?

we would have shitter players than we have now.... if thats even possible.

I'm a bit more optimistic than that

How much did we pay for the Oldham reserve kid who scored a hat trick against us in a pre season friendly?

What did we pay for Clayton?

Genuine questions

You hear about kids going for hundreds of thousands who haven't had their first wank yet

I'd like to think £1m + sell on clause at least but then again I wasted £20 on him Being top scorer in tge division this season
