Juan.Kerr
You can pretty much gauge how much cheese has had to drink by the tone of his posts and timescale. The cheeseometer. I reckon we are pushing 70% now. Brilliant.
grego
So once the hearing has taken place in Jan (19th? or so) will Bolton first go into voluntary admin (CVA) allowing the football to maybe carry on with whoever will stay, or will that be " it " and no more football? Most likely then Notts away is the last game (if we can afford the juice for the team coach). Not just relegation actually the end of BWFC as we know it now. Making Huddersfield the last home game. anyone think any different?

Moderators Horwich Posted December 27, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2015 Who was unhappy when we signed sordell or ngog? I both thought they had promise Keith andrews? Was happy when we got him Hindsight is a mega thing
gonzo
Who was unhappy when we signed sordell or ngog? I both thought they had promise Keith andrews? Was happy when we got him Hindsight is a mega thing It is but it's not our job to get the decisions right. Folk on £500k a year should be making better decisions. Decisions that work. Everybody laughed their tits off when stoke appointed Hughes and the way Watford pissed about in the summer. Folk laughed at Blackburn when the venkys got Bowyer in etc
Moderators Casino Posted December 27, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2015 i dunno who you blame but trust me, everybody would be up in arms if the directors were choosing players to sign you pick your manager and you give em a budget and let them crack on the 3 horwich mentions were 20 million quids worth of bad business and aye, thats with hindsight but thats the only time you can judge, isnt it? Was happy when we got him Hindsight is a mega thing I wasn't happy, but I get your point. Andrews had disaster written all over him and a few Liverpool lads I know couldn't stop laughing when he moved. Didn't know what to think about sordell

tomski
Sordell was ex u21 GB team and a hot tipped prospect.. just didn't want to live up North May of been part of it. Why did he sign for Burnley after? Hottly tipped by who? Edited December 28, 2015 by tomski
Site Supporter only1swanny Posted December 28, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted December 28, 2015 He signed for Burnley showing that he was lying out of his arse.. Probably a greedy agent.. that said he left Burnley by mutual consent not long after.. hotly tipped by quite a few, to be in the England set up you have to be pretty oreet, I do remember thinking though that it seemed like Coyle was just desperate to spend some money
Moderators Casino Posted December 28, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 28, 2015 (edited) he was at bolton when selected for the olympic team i honestly had no problem with us signing him but spending half of what he got for cahill has been proved a masterstroke Edited December 28, 2015 by Casino
Blondi
Never heard of Sordell until we signed him. I asked my Liverpool mate what his thoughts were on N'Gog when we were being linked with him, his reply was "he's fooking useless!"
frank_spencer
Saw Sordell a few times on the telly for England under 21s as I prefer watching their games to the full teams. He scored an absolute beauty and when I found out we were signing him I was over the fucking moon. He turned out to be an über cunt and so has ended up at Colchester.
