Fair play to these lads for having a go   But I really do think it's a last resort as they simply wouldn't be able to raise enough money to see the week out   Any supporters club take over would c

I've not joined but only cos it's a sideshow and once they're ready to do something useful and need some cash, I'll be in

I've been thinking about this a bit, how much I'd be willing to pop in, if they have a committee I believe in and I'd go to 500 quid

For 500 quid I'd want a stand naming after me.

TBF there are a small number of seriously minted members at Pompey who pretty well run club.

Exeter are run by elected Trust committee with all back biting you'd expect.

Wycombe have seat on board with limited clout.

Our lot get to meet CEO once a month and get paid lip service and won't ask the big questions, which is most common theme with trusts.

You seriously need one at this point in case it all goes completely pear shaped and need to form AFC Bolton.

AFC stuff ain't happening anymore, certainly not with entry to level 10 (where Daisy Hill are), priority goes to existing clubs. You aren't seriously going to start at level 12 (Breighmet United, Ladybridge).

Hereford have had >4k crowds this year in tier 9 (alongside Quorn, Coventry Sphinx, Shepshed Dynamo and Walsall Wood). Some cracking away trips down there :yahoo:

Darlington entered at Northern league one so suspect we would go in to the Evo 1st

Derby against Radcliffe Borough anyone?

FA rules have changed at Step 6/Level 10, priority to existing clubs. Prestwich Heys and Charnock Richard applied this year and should succeed. New club FC Liverpool might not due to other pre-existing clubs applying. And clubs may move leagues sideways, to the North East or Midland leagues.

No one is entering at Evostik, let's be totally clear. This is a proper league with clubs putting money in to try and get there. There is only one way in, and that's via promotion/relegation. They have enough trouble juggling clubs as teams from differing regions come and go.

Oh aye, on the plus side, hot dogs and Bovril will be in plentiful supply.

When did rules change?

Argyle Reserves got elected into Step 7 Peninsula League Div 1 West causing much aggravation with the KLF (Kernow Liberation Front) this season.

This season I think, priority to existing clubs, and rightly so.

Does that mean we'll all have to start posting in the non-league thread?

Aye and you can smook tabs and drink ale while watching t'match!

Don't come jumping on the non-league bandwagon now   :blum:

Just remembered this one iro Julie Hilling

I met her a few years ago to complain about the football facilities in Horwich for one of our local sides.

She said she would look into it and het back to me

She got back to me and said "ive written to bwfc and asked them if you can use the pitches at Lostock (academy)"

FFS

Did you use them?

Richard Threlfall mon. Owns the chimney in town. Seems a credible candidate.

Is mounts more into modern art than that flowery patterny stuff?

So the trust chairman is on a board of directors with Gartside. Unbelievable.
