January 30, 201610 yr If we're desperately shifting players out to drive down the wage bill, may as well also fire off that bloke Walford as he's making zero impact on our defending. Only mitigating factor (and it's a big one I suppose) is that the tools he's to work with are pretty poor, and most of them are too soft and too lazy to carry out whatever his instructions have been on the training ground. No idea either why Lennon's given Woollery such limited game time up to now, his pace will worry defences if nothing else, and he might make Madine slightly less of a clogger if he could get onto the flick ons he does will now and again. Looks like the cost cutting's extended to switching off the grass growing lights, pitch looked the most threadbare I've seen it for years.
