Thanks for banging on about it. We're all eternally grateful for your insight

  • I like how they have voted Chris Powell as their first choice.   Not many clubs can say they have had two black managers in a row.

One good thing about Wilder is he can't sit still, always on the go. Nobody's gonna break his stride, nobody's gonna slow him down, oh no, he's got to keep on moving.

Yeah I've been having a look the past couple of days and was surprised nothing had been said. Quite an a give board to be fair.

I like the debate around whether Bolton is 'arguably a bigger club that Northampton' or not :-)

Northampton RU is bigger than Northampton Town.

Under the circumstances this bloke looks a great appointment

1/1 on now

I'm hearing Souness is currently being sounded out

I went to uni with a Northampton fan

Whilst I was out boozing and trying to pull women he would be in the library

That is the only comparison I can make based on experience

I'm hearing Souness is currently being sounded out

I'm all out of pitch forks sadly!

Only to see whether he describes Wilder's teams as long-ball....

Oooh New Manager Eve, how exciting!!!

Hoping for a Guardiola stylee stay til end of season appointment, back in the game.

Carver wreaks of failure he was the one who said he'd walk to Bolton I bet - please no

He also got slated for the evidence he gave in that Gutierrez tribunal

There's not a chance in hell John Carver is part of the 3 man list

Who has KA represented as an Agent?

If it's carver I'll be seriously underwhelmed. The guy comes across as a right knob

Wilder is first choice, we are step up from his current club in most aspects. He's out of contract and we will offer him a decent salary.

It's a done deal as far as I'm concerned

He's not out of contract though, he's on a rolling contract, big difference.

He will need to sign that rolling contract each year, if he chooses not to he's out of contract.

rotherham ,a bigger job ?

Someone's had a fiver on Brown his odds have shortened again

Bigger? No. Better? Currently

thats not how a rolling contract works

I think you'll find it is. His contract is reviewed every 12 months. Obviously they'll want to renew it but he will have the final decision.

No he won't. I'd expect him to be cheaper than Phil Brown though.
