  • Ah, those lads who wanted their country back , upset by foreigners who came over on boats pinching  all the houses and land and changing the native culture and not assimilating into it.  thought you

  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

No idea if this has been posted on here (cba trawling back) but ‘Casuals: The Story of the Legendary Terrace Fashion’ is a decent watch if you have Amazon on the telly. Proper throwback to the early 80s. Some of the Adidas/Fila/Ellese/Tacchini gear is just supreme. Googled some of the pricing of some of that stuff now and it’s mind blowing

Is that the one that ends with the feature about 'Moduals'? That bit was weird but otherwise its decent.

Christ I only watched it 2 days ago and can’t remember. There was definitely some stuff about Mods and Perry Boys but couldn’t say if it was at the end or about moduals

Did 5 episodes last night and interest started to wane when story drifted from just the games.

Started watching baby TV. Seems alright so far. Plot is a bit intense. They counted up to 10 before and I couldn't keep my eyes off it.

Don't fall for it, you'll be tripping on Sesame Street 12 before you know it

Just watched Only Connect.  Felt like a mental health patient.  Barely understood anything anyone was saying, just sat there staring at Victoria Coren.

I actually get more questions right on Universally Challenged than I do Only Connect.

And I don’t get many right on UC to begin with.

Recorded Ambulance because apparently the missus is very briefly on it later on in the series when they drop off at A&E.

Still catching up but fucking hell it is really quite upsetting what some went through during Covid lockdown.

I would love to rub my widgy against her mons.

Unfortunately I am nowhere near intelligent or funny enough to pry her away from her fella.

Shittest score ever tonight on U.C.

University of Birmingham - 100 and odd...

Sussex University - 10.

Birmingham playing with a team of three an' all, as the sexist pigs totally blanked the girl on their team, even though she chimed in the correct answers to questions the captain 'passed' on, more than once.

You'd expect such misogyny from the lifelong single-sex educated bums/fags of Oxbridge, but Birmingham?

Disgraceful.

Said it before but I love Brassic and I love Joe Gilgun. Makes me laugh alot.

Was that misogny by the men or against the men?

A Cabinet minister needs to know.

@Traf

That's what you get when you install a Glaswegian pisspot into Cabinet.

Someone who's attended/graduated from colleges both Oxford and Cambridge but doesn't know his misogyny from your misanthropy.

The clue is in the 'gyn', Rab, ask your gaffer, he knows his Latin...

I hate Brassic.

Most of the scenery locations are filmed round where I live.

That pub isn't really a pub, but it's a building right on the main junction in Bacup where the A671 and the A681 cross and on filming days, the roads are all shut for hours, massively inconveniencing everyone.

Chuck in the obvious continuity errors where they can be driving on one road and then take a turning into a road that's actually miles away and it just irritates me. (Peter Kay's Car Share did that too)

Isn't it filmed in Bacup? Watched a scene last night where it was meant to be a hospital and they where outside the UniBol.

I live a mile and a half North and uphill of Bacup.

You should try living in London then, you'd never watch anything.

And I wish I could get across Northumberland as quickly as Vera in her Land Rover
