  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Everything John Simm is in, is definitely worth watching, quality actor 👌

He’s brilliant. I keep meaning to rewatch The Lakes and Mad Dogs.

The Lakes with Simon Reeves. 3 episodes.

Interesting, informative and gives an insight to all different aspects of everyday life in the area that doesn't get much coverage it deserves.

Excellent watch.

Second time in a few weeks that I’ve heard about how good moss is for the planet. There’s even some company trying to flog us all a 1 or 2 metre square glass box for our gardens. Filled with moss. Meant to be the equivalent of planting 200+ trees each.

Reeves was in some wetland areas where the ground was like pure sponge under his feet.

Well I'm inadvertently doing my bit. A good 50% of my lawn is fucking moss.

Oi @Zico you watched this new Korean show Hellbound yet?

Same.

And me. Youngest has persuaded me to give the US version a go which I’ve never seen. Can’t say I’m expecting much

got half way through first episode last week, wasn't in the mood for it

started on The Devil Next Door Instead

true story bout a Ukrainan bloke who'd lived in the US since the war, then gets identified as Ivan The Terrible, the worst of all the nazi prison guards at the death camps, so has to go on trial in Israel

only 5 parts, very good

First series is similar even down to some of the same jokes but stick with it. It gets much better and is a completely different show but very funny

Yeah... Great to see areas like that growing back to their natural beauty.

May have missed it on here but has anyone mentioned Ted Lasso?

Watched the first 3 episodes last night, quite good and funny at times, I'll stick with it

Thought I'd give it a try after reading this. Gave it a fair crack I think, but fucked it off after watching the pilot, and the first 2 proper episodes. It's just too forced. Can't be arsed sitting through 6 hours of shite until it finds its feet.

Cheers R. Yes, I watched the whole first series. Will start on series 2 soon. UK/US differences make for some of the funniest bits.

Just start from series 3 and forget they are related

There's no continuity or anything

You'll get the general gist

Greed is at Gorilla next year. The most random gig I think I've ever seen.
