  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Not seen any but seen it recommended a few times on here and tbh I’ve picked up some belting shows from folk off here so worth giving it a go

You won't be disappointed- see this is what happens when you nurture talent in theatre in funded venues and then unleash them to a wider public 😁

Lucy Preeble is a fucking genius - along with the whole team - but it's as close to watching an excellent stage drama on TV as I've ever seen.

About to dive in. Reckon I'll be asleep within 10 minutes and have to try again tomorrow.

I've never even heard of Succession but apparently some recent episode has a 10 rating on IMDB after 1000+ ratings on IMDB and is the only ever episode of anything to do since the one in breaking bad when Hank died

Never gone back to it after watching the first two episodes ever and being bored shitless with it. Hammy acting - especially from the son expecting to be the successor. From recent comments it seems that I may have to try again.

Watched the first two episodes last night. I know where you’re coming from re the hammy acting but I’m going to plough on with it

Looking forward to the Raoul Moat thing coming along soon.

Started the Good Mothers last night after a long drive home after being out of radio range for a while. Loved Gomorrah, Romanzo Criminale and Zero, Zero, Zero. This shows similar promise. This time it's the 'Ndrangheta

It's okay, but nowhere near as good as the others you mention.

Agreed. Watched it and it is not as good.

The Good Mothers looks like a good un. Will watch Episode 2 this weekend. Episode 1 was, as usual, just setting the scene. Carlo Cosco looks like a reet nowty fucker.

What's The Good Mothers on?  I'll give that a go.

Not sure mate. I get it through our dodgy box via Kodi (now Nodi).

Cheers pal.  I've just done a quick Google and it's on Disney Plus ... just one of the many subscriptions we've currently got.  I'll stick it on later.

Nice one mate. Hope you enjoy it. All subtitled of course - I probably should have mentioned that earlier!

Subtitles not an issue for me.

Only simpletons moan about them.

Watched the first episode of Catching Lightning last night, 4 part docu series about Lee Murray.

I've a limited tolerance for things glorifying or beatifying crims who are good to their mums but get a feeling this might have the right balance, time will tell.

Succession.

Well into Series 1 now

As my youngest said, you need to get past the first few episodes, which aren’t exactly attention grabbing, to understand the characters, much like Breaking Bad

We agree. Getting concerning this ;)

Subtitles aren’t a problem but I get pissed off when not wearing specs and expected to read a text in smaller type than a subtitle would be.

1% new series last night, bloke won £10,000 had been married 3 times, twice to women and once to a bloke, good show though

Done the Waco and Boston Marathon documentaries on netflix

Knew the headlines and top level details

Wasn't aware of the man hunt post bombing and interesting to see the dynamics (fuck ups) made by the authorities at Waco
