  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

Yep, very dark!  Finished it last night.  Not many laughs to be had and had the same oppressive tone that Gomorrah had.

That said, thoroughly enjoyed it.

One thing that baffles me though is the amount of money these mafia families must extort, yet they all still live in shitholes.  Makes you wonder why they bother.

Fair point. The Savastano's had it right though eh? A few flash gaffs. ;)

After a mention on Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday, we also appeared in the “odd one out” round of last night’s Have I Got News For You.

A Town Called Malice also interesting on the fashion front. Ellesse, Fila etc. very prominent.

Sound track in this one just gets better and better!

High Score on Netflix is ace

Retrospective look at the rise and evolution of video games in the 80s and 90s

Fascinating if that's your kind of thing seeing how the consoles developed through ideas and marketing, along with how various genres of game came about and flourished

I've been making my way through Season 6 on Better Caul Saul

Blimey O'Reilly

I've also made a start on Maid

Hidden Assets. Features the blonde bird out of The Commitments who they are all after nobbing.

Not bad.

Second series of The Curse on All 4 on Thursday. Big Mick 🤣😂

Jury Duty on Amazon.

It is like The Office but if one of the people working there it didn't know it wasn't real.

Happy to see that Burnley plumber fella get a garden makeover by Titchmarsh. I know Love Your Garden is unlikely to be popular on here but my lad loves it and it's happy TV

Cunk on Britain is utterly superb stuff

Just finished S3 Ep1 of Succession

Had my doubts early on but this is a very good watch

Watched first 2 episodes of Citadel on Amazon Prime. Most expensive series ever made apparently. Jason Bourne meets James Bond. Bit over produced for me but entertaining.

Its sucession night and the feelings right....

Chunky cardigan donned in preparation.

just done the First one

The Diplomat. Two series released pretty much at the same time with the same title. One is Sophie Rundle working for the British Consulate in Barcelona. Watched the first two last night. Not bad at all. Doesn't someone on here have strong connections with Catalonia? They'd enjoy it for certain. Possibly a little lightweight with the Brit humour in there. We will find out as we get deeper into it. So far, looks 7/10-ish. The Merthyr Tydfil bootgirls were quite entertaining - especially for you rug muncher fans.

The second one is a US one about the ambassador to the UK. Much 'heavier'. Only watched a few minutes but shows promise.

It's awful, only watching it for comedy value now.

Succession.

I think Greg is my favourite.

Still getting better.

'You can't make an omlette without breaking some Greg's.'

Last night's....'but the editing is superb' was genius.

As was, 'How can I go on after that? He's just promised them eternal life.'

Anyway, these made up projections (nice nod to WeWork) will come crashing down.
