Succession

Brilliant. Again.

Been away down south since yesterday morning so not seen it. Not back til Thursday night. Chomping at the bit here. Is my memory right that it was the second last episode?

It's good so far. She always gives me a bit of a twitch as well. She's lovely

Have to say wasn't the best this week - but if folk go on about why we should fund the arts the quality of the writing and producing of this is the argument for. Most of the creatives honed their talent in UK theatre.

Basically if you get a chance to see a show Lucy Prebble does - take it.

Well, I was disappointed by the final episode, it just petered out into nothing really. And she didn't get her chebs out

Once upon a Time In Northern Ireland on BBC Iplayer. Superb TV, highly recommended to anyone who has any in interest in the troubles. Gives honest accounts from all sides.

Just started Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe.

If this subject is of interest, I'd certainly recommend it if you haven't already read it.

I said that to the missus, bit of a damp squib ending, I wanted her to have a lez off with her sister

I’ve got it but not started it yet, currently finishing off Bandit country for a second time. There’s loads of good book on the troubles.

Indeed. And it’s good to read them from all sides. Many cover the same situations and it’s fascinating to read the different takes

Got that lined up on the Sky box, and going to the new exhibition at the Imperial War Museum on Monday that seems to be along similar lines.

Just lined up the NI one

Worked over there from 2002-2012 going over for a few days every month

A wonderful place. Amazing people. Went down so many rabbit holes reading books about the place to try to understand the history. Looking forward to this TV account

Good shout that. Covers every perspective. Madness what went on over that 30 year period.
