Only way we get somebody to step in for him, is a prem loanee - hes not going to play and he will be very raw, so i reckon itll remain a patch up job if santos is missing

Which means if theres no outs, and i have my doubts on that, the defence is done

I wonder what it is with Declan John? I've always thought he was a decent player since I first saw him playing at Swansea - and he just seems to have bounced around since then. 

I was really surprised to see that he's played more league games for us than any of his previous clubs too.

Like him as a player, best we have imo, but its not going to work out

For me he’s a good player but perhaps he’s an awkward guy off the pitch I dunno

hes one of good earners so if no plans get rid

Didn't he fall out with Evatt early doors over his lack of effort in training? Sure that was the gist of it at the time. He's very good at this level. Was glad to see him get his place back towards the end of the season.

He does seem to have a bit of a dour personality though.

It's almost certainly agents that whip things up. Same as it ever was.

Rumours circulate. It’s that time of the year. Just because it suddenly becomes public Bolton are interested in a player doesn’t mean he’s been under the radar and no one else knew of him. The clubs will already be jockeying behind the scenes. 
 

the fella at St Mirren will have been on the radar of a few for a good while. It’s called scouting

I would say theres a couple of journo/twitterati football people who seem to be spot on with ours -  am not saying they have inside knowledge but they do seem to be good with ours.  One of em (cant remember his bloody name but can see his picture on his Twitter thing) has said the deals for the 2 rwb are done so we'll see.  

I have the name mick o'Rourke in my head now but could be totally wrong and that could be someone I seen on tele last night ( its shit being 50).

the timing of everything made it look like he was off just before transfer deadline (hence signing Beck), which then didn't materialise, and he was in and out the squad until him and IE apparently made up and he started a few, played well, then ended up in and out the side again

was suggested at the time it was Wrexham, so woudln't surprise me if that's still on and he goes there

I'm not aware of any problem with Decberto since the little spat with Evatt and he seems to have since been fully rehabilitated into the squad so I see no reason for him to be moved on or for him to want to go - unless someone still holds a grudge, but that's hardly a footballing reason. Maybe a silly money offer would tempt?
