BWFC twitter is full of attention seeking drips and complete mongalongs who pretend to be ITK. Every single tweet is club related. Get a life ffs.

Only gimps would ever claim to be ITK.

Bolton Wanderers are close to sealing a six figure move for St Mirren’s World Cup star Keanu Baccus.

The English League One outfit have tabled the deal with significant add-ons built-in.

The Trotters are in advanced talks with the St Mirren board to close a deal for the Australian international.

They hope to be given permission to hold talks with Baccus over the weekend.

The 25-year-old is going into the final year of his St Mirren contract.

I asked St Mirren fans whether they thought Baccus was worth £400 to £450k...this is what they said:

Make of that what you will....

Good work. 👍

See, I’m not always looking for an argument 😂

People on Twitter certainly are always looking for one, winding up the St Mirren fans when the deal ain’t even done yet.

Having said that some of the St Mirren lot were flabbergasted that he may have chosen Bolton over them or a club in the division above us

Keanu Baccus rumours are exciting but we could do with getting Kane Wilson announced and over the line too. If them two both arrive that's probably around £500K shelled out!

Seen a few Mirren fans saying he was excellent before the world cup, performed good during the WC for Aus but went off the boil when he came back probably down to the fixture congestion due to tiredness or was it that he'd gone from playing against Messi on the global stage to playing against Barry McKockiner in 2,000 seat stadium?

Yeah whether it's warranted or not, some fans are trying to sound the panic alarm over if Wilson's failed his medical. Hopefully just the PR waiting on a WWE Kane announcement video

Nothing to worry about regarding Baccus. Permission not to panic. His train was cancelled coming from Edinburgh. Nothing more. Nothing less. Do not trouble yourself.

6 figures is a big range - but they did say add-ons would be key and have been proven right.

Be surprised if he did fail a medical - he was like the Everready bunny against Argentina last week,

Showing my age now - it's the Energiser bunny.

St Mirren fans reckon £275k would be daylight robbery:

You can spin this in all sorts of positive ways, from showing that we are an attractive club for players to develop - and get decent media coverage, to the fact this has happened early in the window so it provides us lots of time to try and bring in a replacement.

That may all be true, but a reported figure of £275k, even with significant add-ons, seems surprisingly low. I will be bias, after all, but even an objective view must see that as selling below his value.

We don't know the ins and outs, nor do we know if we had a prior agreement with Baccus or his previous club regarding when he'd move or for how much, but I'll not lie it feels a bit of a slap in the face. Not that I begrudge Baccus the opportunity, I wish him well, as will all the St Mirren fans, as it's certainly been enjoyable watching him play.

A few people slagging off St Mirren and the SPL - all I can say is that the SPL is a higher standard than us and that the St Mirren fans have been great to chat with.
