if we're having him for the rest of the season, what ever we pay in fees and wages, we're efffectively talking him off newcastle's hands permanently

 

(assuming they don't offer him a new deal in the summer, which is highly unlikely)

He would have the opportunity to go anywhere then though. That's the gamble i suppose, pay a bit now and get his signature, and potential for money if resold. Pay for a loan and risk not getting him permanently, unless we're not that bothered.

As he's under contract in England we can't sign an agreement til the end of the season, if he was employed by a foreign club we could sign him up

Could do with Dervite , Trotter and Moxey doing one in this window we could then get a few in with the wages those 3 are on!
