FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Waffle Waffle Waffle. Dion could go but then again he probably won't. Waffle Waffle Waffle.

As much as i'd hate to see Dion go, which would be really shit at this stage of the window then at least we could go back to 2 up top with three in midfield. Not sure how Collins and Mcatee would fair together, probably go with Collins and Vic personally with Mcatee coming on second half.ย

It's a business but we the fans never see that cash generated from transfers. It's usually sunk into infrastructure like a new training ground or car park and rarely totally reinvested in a new player. Doubt there's a better option than Dion out there for the price they would get. He's just getting back to full sharpness as well so I'm not one of the sheep wanting to get rid. If he's struggling at Xmas then maybe an option to cash inย

Who are the sheep that want Dion gone?

Has anyone said that they do?

Bod doesnโ€™t fancy him and will replace him with Bod when heโ€™s appointed.ย

Exactly - it's a bit like "maghoma could come back" which took up several pages.

Thereโ€™s no question what division weโ€™ll be in if Charles goes now.

So you think we'll stay up?

As it says, it's a hypothetical scenario.

Like dropping Sheehan for Matete to play alongside George was before it happened :)

I hope you can be as magnanimous and open-minded when Sheehan has a great game dictating things like he did last season.ย

Wasn't criticising our owners who have been great just talking about clubs in general

Just to be clear - I like Sheehan.

Only saying he is less suited to the higher paced athletic games - and is useless out of possession so others have to sacrifice position to cover for him. Give him time on the ball and he's great.

Iโ€™m sure thereโ€™s more too it but Iโ€™ve not got a UEFA A coach license or coached beyond grass-roots.

But thereโ€™s a whole host of conditions that would make Sheehan beyond being โ€œuseless out of possessionโ€ and him being great in other situations beyond โ€œgiving him time on the ballโ€ย

I don't think you do.

If Dan is one, it can only be a loan.ย

Can't be any clubs willing to part with moneyย

I'd be surprised if any of Iredale, Williams and Dan are still here on Saturday, unless their absence from recent squads is due to injuries/lack of fitness.ย  If fit they are well out of favour with IE.

I wouldn't expect any to attract fees - either loans or frees.

I hope this is Paris coming back!

I'd be a bit surprised if Williams went.

Seems to be quite popular with Evatt just going of selections last season above others.

Iredale- maybe, given someone on here spoke to him last season and he was a bit frustrated.ย

Isn't Williams injured?

Whens he not?

Reading between the lines of who has been absent with explanation in recent games it looks like Nlundulu and Iredale would be the favourites to leave. I'd be surprised if Williams went. Victor leaving has to be watched given the amount of links in recent times.ย

Our squad size is such that we'd need new players in if a clutch leave. Then we're in the business of assessing whether the incomings are better quality than the outgoings.ย ย

None of this is ideal before Exeter given there are supposedly injuries in the mix too.

Dan and Williams can go. Iredale to stay. Heโ€™s the backup left centre back and our only left back, if IE tries a back four. Williams is neither of them, mostly injured and definitely bang-average!
