July 9, 20251 yr Lolos & Dan were always going to be out of the plan , which is entirely logical . We just need better , the size of Dan should have made him unplayable but it’s his injuries that have usurped him sadly. Lolos is just one laid back footballer too many for most of us , caveat being he does show some football intelligence. Anyway we need robustness to get out of this league. Beating our local rivals will be a start.

I've not been abusive Sincey. I didn't mind Lolos and he could definitely do a job somewhere else, probably with less aspirations than us tbf. He was just systematic of Evatts insistence of bringing in socks rolled down fancy pants number 10s. He was surplus to requirements even in a system that was loaded with them. Seeing as we've ripped that manual up he's even more so now. Good luck to the lad, the manager clearly doesn't fancy him. Even the manager that bought him didn't fancy him much.

July 10, 20251 yr Watched that loooong podcast with SS (to be fair, he's well worth a listen) and he talks a lot about team spirit and character. I suspect it's as much about Lolos' character and fit as it is about his underwhelming performance.

Prepare now for when Teddy goes back at the end of the season and if Hutch has a good loan and proves himself then he and the new young keeper can be our two from then on. I suspect the experienced guy is the backup for Teddy this year. How about Mark Howard, still a good keeper just released from a similar back up position at Wrexham. He’s 38 now but still keeps himself pretty fit and wouldn’t be looking for big money or contracts?
