  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

Think one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen is a lad who was shit in his own position being played up front against a team like Liverpool

What a dark day in the clubs history

We were about 3 minutes from glory. Not sure that was a dark day. What followed it certainly was though.

Heskey centre back against Forest

Anyone remember David Wheater at right back against Blackburn :D

Who was it who played left back at Ewood and got torn a new arse - Baptiste springs to mind?

And then there was Mark Came up front at Coventry

Campo at centre half against anyone

Bo Hansen in net

World Cup Belgian Centre half Boyata played nigh on all his games at right back despite playing at centre half previously and since and being built like a centre half.

Charlton fans really aren't happy that we're signing Magennis for just 200K, especially when they turned down 500K in January, the Charlton owner isn't the most popular guy in South East London.

Good bit of business that for the money!

Fail to believe as in ‘wtf’ rather than doubting the veracity of the story.

Parky wants his bumps feeling if he signs Mills.

Fair enough. It surprised me too

Jimmy Philips at right back against Di Canio.

Haha it worked then did it?

And when you walk in to a ground and see your CB as your striker it’s never a good day believe me

Magennis for 200,000 is a steal

He only played there because of injuries. I mean it very nearly did work. He did well there. Better than he did at CB.

One of the best players in the world the only reason we didn’t beat them that day. Even with Mills up front.

Not sure we need another target man, even though we've been linked with Wyke still, think Magennis with Donaldson as backup is fine and if we sign say Garner from Ipswich, we should be ok for the new season.

Mark came upfront against Coventry

I think we had Mark Came upfront at Swindon in the 4 game cup tie.

Jimmy Philips at right back against Di Canio.

Never seen anything like that since.

My god that was carnage

Never seen anything like that since.

Gardner at right back for that night match at pompey was an utter allardyce pisstake

Ben Haim at left back against Antonio Valencia at Wigan. Dragged off after half an hour (and we even won that day).

Looks like that Digne transfer to Everturd getting closer

Henrik Pedersen at left back worked at first but was carnage once sussed.

Robbie Elliott and Andy Todd as a towering central defensive partnership with midfield hard men Scott Sellars and Claus Jensen in front of them was something else that didn't quite work!!

Hobbs being offerred a 1 year contract decent signing

Decent signing indeed but I do worry about pace against that backline!
