Has he been released? would seem strange if they wanted proctor and we said yea give us Darby and they said fuck off! then less than 2 weeks let him go, seems a bit weird. Sounds like we couldnt sign him until the summer even so

was a bit of a rumour on twitter amongst Bratfot fans that Darby being announced tomorrow as a bolton player but this is twitter we are talking about. 

 

Just seems weird I read a Stuart McCall interview on deadline day saying they were not gonna sell Darby in the window and then feck him off a few days later. Could do with him like if he is any good

I always thought if the club terminated the contract outside of any window then they are denying a player any possibility of earning. This is as clear as mud in here.

It seems to skirt around the issue regarding out of contract players signing outside of transfer windows. It does mention about the player cancelling the contract but I can't find anything where the club cancels it.

The site is a mine of information though. I didn't know a player could only play for a maximum of three clubs in a season.

yeah suppose so. if he is now out of contract then doesnt the bosnan ruling mean he cant be denied a living so can join a club because he was released? Tried looking through the rules but there are only so many hours in a day. 

As Cassie said above, they have to be out of contract during the window.
