March 7, 20179 yr "Another option – which will also require some leniency from the Football League – would be to re-register Darren Pratley, whose progress after ankle surgery is ahead of schedule." That suggests he's no longer registered. Well yes that is my intepretation.
March 7, 20179 yr he will be by the time he plays isnt it known as the andranik effect, more recently the howard effect?
March 7, 20179 yr he will be by the time he plays isnt it known as the andranik effect, more recently the howard effect? Max Clayton and Derik are the kings of 'getting betterer' when not playing.

March 7, 20179 yr What a farce. The football league need to show leniency so we can play a bloke we've paid a shitload of money to sit on his arse all season. Fuck off
March 7, 20179 yr How on earth can a Scunthorpe director not have a conflict of interest when voting on whether we can sign a player or not? He should not have the right to vote or contribute to the discussion. The EFL is a shambles.
March 8, 20179 yr I think the league have showed plenty of leniency to be fair. All this stems from problems created by both the previous and new owners, and the EFL clearly stated the terms on which we could sign players etc, and until we come out of the special measures the EFL set out, don't blame them for holding us to those terms

Obviously I'd like to sign more but completely understand why we shouldn't.
March 11, 20179 yr http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/15149092.EFL_clarifies_position_on_Wanderers__embargo_and_rejected_vote/ Our ken showing a bit of form for shooting from the hip perhaps needs a more measured approach but he gives a shit! I'd have to say if thems the rules although tough we should have to stick to them but reasons behind wilkinson on the bench and playing lads out of position ....... siege mentality time COYFWM
March 11, 20179 yr How on earth can a Scunthorpe director not have a conflict of interest when voting on whether we can sign a player or not? He should not have the right to vote or contribute to the discussion. The EFL is a shambles. He didn't vote for that same reason. We've pushed our luck with the league and now they've had enough. Good on Ken for blagging us this far Edited March 11, 20179 yr by Kane57

May 5, 20179 yr Have we signed anyone yet? Parky's on his summer hols - picture of him on Twitter in Villamoura today. No signings until he returns for pre-season in July when the embargo will allow him to fill his vacant squad slots with our youth team.
