I wouldn't say he was overrated at the time, but no disputing he went off the boil. Some of those goals he scored weren't flukes, at least 2 free kicks in the postage stamp, 2 fantastic finishes against Wolves, 1 v Watford, that classy one v Wigan, winning a pen v Liverpool. Aside from his goals he was class on the ball too and isn't the first or last to not kick on after a big move. Quote
