And to be fair he looked bang average the first part of last season. Went backwards after signing his deal. since going to wing back and not having to care so much about the defensive side he came on really well after Christmas. there’s a player in there. Probably at the level he’s at now but far far too good for non league. But I prob wouldn’t turn down that money if we were hearing these rumours as a champ club.. I don’t rate John defensively Max, as I said in my post and clearly IE agrees with me and has said as much in signing Iredale. He doesn’t have pace and isn’t the best tackler but what he does have is his forward movement and again like IE, there will be times when that will be more important. Would I sell him for £500k, no of course not but it doesn’t mean he’s without weaknesses in certain areas, like most others in the squad.
