December 20, 20169 yr Watching this thread since last night reminds me that the cliche that the emptiest cans make the most noise is a cliche for a reason.
December 20, 20169 yr that's were we need to Nuke them back too Yes Teresa, fire up the submarines, we are going in. Let's Nuke em all.
December 20, 20169 yr Just a quick straw poll, but has anyone on here had to go to a funeral of someone who has died in a terrorist attack?
December 20, 20169 yr Just a quick straw poll, but has anyone on here had to go to a funeral of someone who has died in a terrorist attack? No not me, does that make everything alright then? Please expand on your reason for that question?
December 20, 20169 yr Just a quick straw poll, but has anyone on here had to go to a funeral of someone who has died in a terrorist attack? Yes. Not Islamic terrorism though. Edited December 20, 20169 yr by no balls
December 20, 20169 yr Everything your told by government is true, would that be a statement you believe in? Nope. But this is a foil hat too far
December 20, 20169 yr Nope. But this is a foil hat too far Pleased to hear that. Time will tell, desperate governments do desperate deeds. Edited December 20, 20169 yr by Mounts Kipper

December 20, 20169 yr When is the German election? By law it has to be no sooner than 27 August and no later than 22 October. Expected date is 24 September.
December 20, 20169 yr Trying to work out why they would attack a country that opened its humanitarian arms to a million people. Whether they were predominantly males of fit fighting age is beside the point for now...alas, Germany have been good in the eyes of the bedwetters and refugees...maybe that's what these cavemen don't like and they actually want to create racial and political division in the west which in turn makes it less attractive to those fleeing the stone age? They kill each other so won't care too much about anyone who helps their fellow people This type of division is exactly what they want Blaming Merkel for this is like blaming Farrage for Jo Cox
December 20, 20169 yr Nah. Not having it.Course it doesn't, it doesn't fit his opinion So must be false
December 20, 20169 yr They kill each other so won't care too much about anyone who helps their fellow people This type of division is exactly what they want Blaming Merkel for this is like blaming Farrage for Jo Cox I see what you are saying but I think your analogy is a bit squiffy when you think about it. Either way, these are shitty times. It brings it home when these things happen in Europe but the atrocities happening in Syria and Yemen are just beyond words. When folk think it is OK to drop barrel bombs of chlorine into a city then you know there is no fucking hope.
December 20, 20169 yr They kill each other so won't care too much about anyone who helps their fellow people This type of division is exactly what they want Blaming Merkel for this is like blaming Farrage for Jo Cox Don't agree with that at all and more importantly neither will the German electorate. Merkel made a terrible mistake with her open door policy last year. If this guy was one of those let in against a lot of advice inside and outside Germany, on top of the other incidents and more to come (as sure as night follows day) she could be finished.
December 20, 20169 yr Just a quick straw poll, but has anyone on here had to go to a funeral of someone who has died in a terrorist attack? not really sure what path you're trying to lead people down here but "allied airstrike accidentally kills scores at muslim weddings" used to be a big excuse with the pro-sunnis (or whoever) during the various middle eastern wars from the 80s to now. so it seems a bit of a trap to even answer. but they (these recent attacks) seem like Thugee raids or something , and can see why folk don't like it. December 20, 20169 yr Fuck me, an e2e4 post I could actually make sense of! haha, was just thinking that mysen

December 20, 20169 yr I'd imagine that there is more chance of Jennifer Lawrence coming round to our houses and giving us all a hand job than there is getting hit in a terrorists attack With that in mind I'm of the opinion that the best reaction to a terrorist act is to have no reaction at all (clearly I mean generally and not the anti terrorists units) Otherwise they win They have attacked Germany as they want them to change, if the German public change and take an anti immigration stance on the back of this then it means the terrorists are winning, fuck that Edited December 20, 20169 yr by birch-chorley

December 20, 20169 yr The TV news reporter John Simpson was on the radio this evening talking about his career and mentioned a thought provoking statistic. During his time covering the Cold War 250 people in a million died each year as a result of war and terrorism. That figure today is 10 in a million. So the world is a safer place but the deaths are now closer to home than they previously were.
December 20, 20169 yr I don't think the attacks are meant to be an attempt to make Germany change, I think it's just an sttack on the West way of life, and it's just the way some sections of Islam operate. I'm thinking Birch meant any country not just Germany.
December 20, 20169 yr I'm thinking Birch meant any country not just Germany. Partly I think the best way to react to any terrorist arrack no matter what country is to not react at all I did note Germany though as I believe that they will have been targeted as their recent hospitality to a million refugees doesn't quite fit the terrorist narrative that the west is all evil, by targeting them they will hope to divide German public opinion and bring about change
December 20, 20169 yr Same still applies. Aye, and the terrorist attack is about wanting to make us change. It's not just for the hell of it.
