Just had a great Laugh with 4 pissed up Palace old boys at Trinity sT.they were getting on the Wigan train to go home!!...they were Raving about how good we were, so I put them on the manc train...not sure they will wake up at home.

Found the taylor substitution for henry odd. Henry must be fresh and was looking good. Seemed like parky just wanted to chuck taylor on for 5 mins no matter what.

Great performance that. We're a very good, well organised team and much credit to PP for that. Spearing my MOM immense performance and lead by example. Henry had a great day and unlucky not to get on the scoresheet. My only concern for the league is that we've picked a season when there are 2 other good teams in competition with us for the automatic spots. A lot of other seasons I would be very confident of going straight up.

Yeah it was Rochdale. Probably the same again today, but at least now you can actually imagine him putting one away.

The chance he had early 2nd half was very similar to one at Rochdale. He did have that knack of finding space at the back post and if he keeps doing the goals will come.

 

His overall performance was a lot more like the bloke I thought was a good 'un at Wolves, if he can reproduce it regularly in the League we might not miss Ameobi
