Here is the issue.

We have good attacking/goalscorers . Henry, Le Fondre, Vela, Clayton, Long.

But the problem is that we don't play a style of football that suits them, and we are desperately missing that creative spark to create opportunities.

We really miss players like Mark Davies and Clough. If we had them, I would guarantee Le Fondre would have scored by now.

I feel sorry for him, he is having to work very hard, competing in the air, but getting no opportunities what so ever.

Past two games (two games I've seen completely sober(there's not many of them)) we've just punted balls up from the centre backs with no real chance we were winning that ball or that anyone was even in contention to win it. Proper gash

Big game against Fleetwood. Really need to win that and get the points from our games in hand otherwise we will be down here clogging it for a while!

Glad you agree with me regards Parkinsons tactics, he's a shit manager.

He really is not.

Anyone thinking we would be in the hunt for automatic promotion this season was deluded, he has done and is doing a great job.

Yes, he is

Anybody knocking him is an an utter retard

Battered today but on another day we undeservedly get a point

Like to know no more about Madines non appearance

He is if you can take mediocre, player for player in this league we have a better squad, but he just doesn't know how to utilise them effectively, we should be top two without a shadow of a doubt, losses against the likes of Swindon, Chesterfield et al, shows me we have a mentality to go out not to lose, instead of going out to batter these teams, sorry but he is not a manager for a promotion chasing team, like I said, stay down this season, he'll be lucky to keep us in league 1 next season.

Exclude Pratley and Mavies.

I think Spearing is head and shoulders ahead of every other player we have, Wheater doing well, Beevers done ok but struggled since we were forced to change things.

We have no full backs at the moment, we are filling midfield with Trotter and Thorpe, Connor Wilkinson up front today.

He played 2 up front today, with 3 at the back, and that is a manager trying not to get beat ?

This squad you talk about does not exist, we have a wage bill that might make you think the squad is good but if you exclude the two long term injuries we are nothing special in terms of players, we were a really shit championship team 12 months ago.

Alreet, we'll agree to disagree, we'll see how it ends.

Missing Madine was one loss too many. I didn't think Sheffield were that good but they deserved to win on the day.....with the help of Beavers' mistake for the 1st & Howard's mistake in the lead up & apparently ( it was too far away for me ) a dubious penalty decision.

Wheater M-O-M .

Didn't go but would agree with this all day long.

Fuck of billeh shape you fucking fat pig

We missed madine today massively

Oh well I'm sure I'll get over it

And that lee Anderson can fuck off too ????

As I've said all along, central midfield is absolutely ridiculous. Why haven't we recruited there?

Oh look I'm the owners son I go out on the piss with them. Don't fall into the trap. ???? I will say this about him. He fuckin loves the attention

We have.. spearing, pratley, davies, wilson, buxton, madine missing... and our top scorer has gone..

Four(?) New players.. who haven't gelled yet in an unsettled team

Against top club

Away

Shit happens.. onnwards and upwards

You missed Andy Taylor off your list.

He's been as important as anyone recently.

Get him back in the team and we'll be a lot stronger at the back.

Is Beevers a booming off a suspension ?

Is Beevers a booming off a suspension ?

Yes, him and Vela.

Play offs is a decent enough season. Just a lottery. Can't see a win at any of Southend Fleetwood or Scunthorpe though so auto would be tough. Need to pick up six from next two homes though meaning 1 pts away be good enough. No good 3 or 4 pts from next two home six needed

Season ain't over by a long shot yet.

Sheff U win there next two games (both away), they're up for me.

Scunny got to go Millwall, Oxford and play Fleetwood this week.

Fleetwoods form as got to break (Shirley)?

Our next two games are vital, win both still a chance of Automatic.

Nice of us to save one of our worst performances for a big game. Nobody came out with any credit.

How many penalties has that bald bastard given against us now? He's a prick of the highest order.

It's looking like 6 more home wins and fingers crossed what ever me can muster away to stand

any chance of playoffs never mind automatic.

Agree with this and Ani and Casino further up the thread, bumchuffery of the highest order. ????

Need to get that settled back 4 in place ASAP and hopefully Taylor will be fit soon and the new guy ready to pull a shirt on for us

Spearing back Tuesday is a major boost and lets hope PP was not lying about Madine and he wasn't well enough to play

We should get 6 points from the two home games and then Fleetwood is a massive game - grind out a win there and we will be second in the league and flying.

COYWM lets go up without the play offs

bring on wembley!!!

14 games to go and automatic promotion in our own hands.

Club winning games, reconnecting with locality, kept the fans onside. I look forward to games now. For the first time in years.

Lost any number of players for various reasons. But still look organised. Not the most entertaining but I'll take it.

Played ok yesterday considering, can take heart from that. Some days you're the statue and all that....

And Mike Dean refereed it well yesterday. If anything he gave us more than them. Penalty aside.
