Doom and gloom. Don't you see the connection between Ken picking up 95% of the shares for a quid and having to tip his own money in loans in?

This is how the trust and those associating with them operate. They like to drop hints pretend they know of some massive conspiracy, and then when asked to cough up, they clam up and go quiet.

Think the wording of the second poll option sums up my feelings. Shame we have such an apathetic fanbase otherwise they might have been challenged on their continued positions.

This is isn't a blame the fans exercise again. I actually think the opposite. If you think of others around us in similar situations, then our numbers stack up well.

The ST are cockends that's the crux of it

You're right (on both counts) I just meant more in terms of challenging the leadership of the Trust who at present are doing more harm than good.

No it's a fair point. From memory though they had lots of expression of interest that doesn't seem to have been followed up.

I remember the Portsmouth bloke saying that the trust wouldn't work at championship level up (they are selling up aren't they) so I'm now of the point of failing to see what the ST can even bring to the table. For balance though I was a member

For me the ST always been a safety net an insurance policy should the worst happen so that BWFC always will exist. It shouldn't be used as a vehicle to beat the club with a stick or work against the club neither should it be a mouthpiece to broadcast sensationalist news without listening to what the club/owner has to say first. Agreed but they did canvass all members who voted for them to 'monitor' events at the club. The way they've gone about it so far has been cack-handed at best.

Agree, but I've really grown to detest this mob

When you say mob isn't the board just 3 people? Folk who are members of the trust all have BWFC at heart however the question is are the 3 board members really speaking for the Trust members? From where I am sitting I would say not, if that can be addressed then folk might feel better about supporting the Trust. However it looks a long way off given the current state of play.

Yes perhaps so. They don't represent anything I feel about bwfc though. Until they have been removed or leave I think they are a complete waste of time. Even if I agreed with them, the way they go about stuff infuriates me

Not a poster on here always active in the background tho I thought I'd share this as it makes interesting reading, apparantly Ken has now edited his statement on the club website twice and removed things (for the record im 100% behind Ken) but this is a cause for concern

This safety net thing is the thing I find most bizarre mounts...

How can they be a safety net with no money?

The andersons are by no means loaded in the football club owner terms but they are millionaires our terms.

The ST doesn't have any millionaires to fund losses. If the club is going under, it's going under. No gaggle of self elected west stand upper season ticket holders will stop it.

Like I've said before, if we get wrapped up and have to start again, these plonkers are the last people you want anywhere near it.

They been faceless and asked all the wrong questions, in the wrong way at the wrong times.

I know for a fact KA would meet them or any of us for that matter and discuss things. Whacking out statements before any attempt to meet in person is pathetic and causes nothing but divide.

Who is putting out the statements? Are they approved by the whole board? I suspect the unsavoury Izza character is behind it.

Is the same person behind their Twitter account, wishing people happy birthday then retweeting Bwfc and BEN? Bizarre at best.

In summary, circumstances sometimes change.

Hold the front page.

The safety net only comes into play in adminstraton the Trust then get first refusal on running the club. I'd think there wouldn't be any purchase cost and the club would have to be self financing however I'm sure some wealthy folk would invest if it ever did get to the stage where the Trust take over the club, take Pompey for example Trust took over the club then 5/6 wealthy fans chipped in large sums of money to take club forward.

Fair enough then sorry for raising it , professional thing to me would be to "hold" the statement until you perhaps had all the information you needed but I do appreciate hindsight's blindsight and all that Edited by Chadbwfc91

We haven't got 6 wealthy fans prepared to that.

If we get wound up it's not admin we'd be looking at. It's insolvency and start all over again.
