Winding Up Orders

Last I heard, it was court tomorrow

ST and Lies reported 3, including Heathcotes mob

KA said that was old news, leaving 2

Now, I can see HMRC is definitely a club issue, but the other is Sport Shield

If we assume KA can deal with HMRC debt - I'd have been happier if he had sorted that one already, tbf- that 'just' leaves SS and blumarble

If the court agrees to wind up SS, do we know what that means and also the impact on BWFC

  • The harsh reality is that name of the club has been dragged through the dirt in last few years. Massive debts, relegation, players not being paid etc etc.   Go back to when KA was first linked he w

  • Mounts had a word and told them the financial benefit of having a football stadium 300 yards away

  • Imagine that, a site that represents BWFC's hardcore support being pro-the bloke who has saved us from oblivion. Just fucking imagine that.

You'd be dangerous if you just engaged your brain for a minute

What I'm saying is we wouldn't be able to run the macron in Stockports league

It's already showing signs of neglect

I'm engaging my brain, you on the other hand talking a load of bollocks and when are we going to stoop to Stockport level? These signs of neglect might cost million or 2 to put right a new stadium would cost 10-15 million maybe more. There is no alternative to the Macron.

They've had 3k plus this season it's 10k capacity it's not too big for them should they have ambition of once again being a league club and we're 1 promotion from premier league. As for moving back to central Bolton well that truly is million miles off.

One promotion from the Prem, fucking hell, we need to get out of the relegation spots first, and I'm a million miles off ????????????

Close the upper tiers

If we drop a division, and stay down that will have to happen. It'll be a sad day, but the upkeep of the whole ground would be far too much

One promotion from the Prem, fucking hell, we need to get out of the relegation spots first, and I'm a million miles off ????????????

If I was to put money on it, as it currently stands, I reckon were more likely to be in the bottom division again before the top one......unless some C-A-Ls wade in and rescue us

Don't close the upper tiers, fill the stadium up to them with earth and then relay the pitch.

When we get back in contention simply dig out the earth...simple.

If I was to put money on it, as it currently stands, I reckon were more likely to be in the bottom division again before the top one......unless some C-A-Ls wade in and rescue us

The C-A-Ls have waded in elsewhere, we just need some ambition.

We might need to paint some of the earth surrounding the new pitch green too.

It happens check out Huddersfield couple of years back it's not Million miles off. I'll wager we will be in the premier league before we return to BL1/2 only a ding a ling might think other wise.

Apologising for the term chingaling, on here?

My favourite I think will always be the ANC being referred to as a darkies kick about.

Regarding the stadium being too big if we where lower down the league ladder.

If you consider that the electricity bill is £1million a year, I would say a lower league club would find that kind of thing crippling. It's bad enough now at championship level.

The place needs a good clean and paint. Think of the costs associated with that.

What I'm saying is a facility such as the Macron can be too much to maintain for a lower league club.

Unfortunately there is no alternative. I'm sure we will be fine though.

Bagsy cleaning the windows.

£7 front and back.

AgaIn though. How much does that actually cost? It all add up. It's a Huge building of which a large majority is empty most days.

That'll be mainly lighting for the pitch that could be just switched off.

Problem solved! You my friend are a genius. You should give Ken a call.

Why we had 20k plus for a League 1 game, we just need a 1/2 decent team, surely that's the plan.

joking mate

It's far from empty.

There's stuff on there every day.

Yes. I was taking all that into Consideration. Even on a good day I would say 60% of the stadium is empty if you don't count the stands obviously.

Like every single football stadium in the world?

How do we manage :)

Exactly . You are totally missing the point. Owning such a huge facility like the macron Stadium comes with huge overheads empty or full..

If you have a good well-paid job you can afford to run a large house. You can afford to heat it, power it and maintain it.if you lose that good job you may no longer be able to afford to run such a large house. whether a house is full or empty similar overheads still apply. Yes you may save a bit on electricity and heating but your rent and your council tax and maintenance don't really change .

My point is Bolton Wanderers currently have a job if you want to put it that way that barely keep their head above water. How could the club afford to keep hold of such a large facility in a lower league?

You see others manage. And yes they do but they tend to have huge revenues. It's an inherent problem with football stadiums. They are extremely expensive to build and maintain and also cover a large area which brings its own problems. It's very difficult to get any sort of stadium to pay its way. That is why a lot of stadiums her bill for multi purposes.

Look at Tranmere Rovers or Stockport County. Are you telling me right now but the people paying the bills bills football clubs which at this moment in time they had a little bit of a smaller ground .

Surely if Bolton Wanderers were relegated to league one Or kindred league two and ended up staying there, would the really be Able able to keep hold of Macron stadium.

must be near impossible.

So what's your point? :D

My point is you are an idiot, if you don't see my point. Or do i have to feed it to you on a spoon?

Lastly, I'd happily see us move back to BL1/BL2, to a stadium built for fans, not in the middle of nowhere next to a soulless retail park.

H Town is the beating heart of the entire universe. Didn't you get the memo?

1. We'd still need a stadium

2. Who would buy ours off us?

3. Who would pay for the new one?

4. Where would Bolton Council allow it to be built?

I'm a fucking moron, so you'll need to spoon feed me the answers in short words.

Could you please make your analogy in cake form so that I can understand it. Thank you.
