Winding Up Orders

Last I heard, it was court tomorrow

ST and Lies reported 3, including Heathcotes mob

KA said that was old news, leaving 2

Now, I can see HMRC is definitely a club issue, but the other is Sport Shield

If we assume KA can deal with HMRC debt - I'd have been happier if he had sorted that one already, tbf- that 'just' leaves SS and blumarble

If the court agrees to wind up SS, do we know what that means and also the impact on BWFC

  • The harsh reality is that name of the club has been dragged through the dirt in last few years. Massive debts, relegation, players not being paid etc etc.   Go back to when KA was first linked he w

  • Mounts had a word and told them the financial benefit of having a football stadium 300 yards away

  • Imagine that, a site that represents BWFC's hardcore support being pro-the bloke who has saved us from oblivion. Just fucking imagine that.

Its been lifted from the hotel, offices, car parks etc but remains in place on the stadium itself

Sounds a sensible decision.

ACV REVIEW HEARING - DECISION We can now report the outcome of the Review hearing of the ACV nominated by the BWFCST over the Macron stadium and surrounding land which was heard on 2 October 2017. The decision has been released for publication today. We are pleased to inform our members that the decision preserves the ACV listing over the major part of the Macron stadium. The hotel, offices in the north stand and car parks B and C have been removed. The exclusion of parts of a bespoke stadium from the listing is in our view misplaced. By way of background, the legislation behind the ACV listing process, once property has been nominated, dictates that the assessment and preservation of the ACV status is the responsibility of the relevant local Council. We would highlight that the decision is that of Bolton Council after a Review was requested by the club and Prescott Business Park. We would state that whilst we nominated the areas for Asset of Community Value status it is Bolton Council who initially approved the nomination and after the Review the current status is once again Bolton Council’s decision. In the spirit of reconciliation, it is not the intention of the BWFCST to challenge the decision of Bolton Council. We would observe that potential sale or application for planning permission of the areas now excluded from the ACV status would clearly impact on the enjoyment and use of the majority of the stadium, should there be a future change of use. We believe throughout the process from December 2016, we have always had the club’s interest at heart as we sought to give the limited protection to the club’s assets through the ACV and ensure transparency in property transactions. The actions of the BWFCST have been repeated in dozens of instances around the country in respect of football stadia. Now that a decision has been made, we urge all the parties to work together for the benefit of the club and its community. We will work towards this end. We have initiatives to further support the club, continue with Academy initiatives as directed by the members in a series of questionnaires, continue to explore the improvement of the supporter experience and to ensure that the voice of the supporter is presented to the club. After recent encouraging performances on the field, we hope that we can all look forward to a more positive outlook for our club on all fronts.

Sounds a sensible decision.

That does sound OK to me

Hey, tomski, I want to buy your house

I'll give you 150k

That's great, only thing is we need to wait 6 months while some goons argue whether I can sell you my back garden and the third bedroom

They cant actually stop me selling to you, but you will have to wait while I prove it

:)

Do you think Ken happy

I dont

I don't know. Surely he would only be unhappy if we were Selling the ground?

Do you think Ken happy

I dont

Tough shit for Ken he can't just do what ever he likes, the club is more important than Kens back pocket.

Sounds a sensible decision.

Agreed sounds a good compromise to me.

Without Ken's back pocket chances are we wouldn't have a fucking club.

Too many folk forget that

Far too many are up his arse as well. I dont think mounts or others on here are against him. No harm in viewing it all with a bit of caution

So for those who ain’t clued on all this

What does it mean for a potential sale?

So for those who ain’t clued on all this

What does it mean for a potential sale?

It means the bloke who owns it, lock stock and barrel, can't sell it without telling everybody and then putting up with six months of shit chucking from every internet loon in the town

After that he can do what he wants

So for those who ain’t clued on all this

If theres' a Ching-a-ling who wants to throw £500m at a club, it makes Wiggin easier to buy than us.

If there was a Ching-a-ling who wanted to throw £500m at a club, They wouldn't give a toss about an ACV....

Why not? Course they would.

He can can buy for example, Wigan, or wait six months while Ken has to mess about with you boys.

To use Casino's house analogy - if I win the lottery and want to buy a house in the South of France, I'm getting the one I can buy now, cos I fancy a bit of sun over Christmas. I'm not going to hang on for the one next door where the vendor has to fuck about dealing with every Tom, Dick and Harry for six months.

Izza in not admitting he was wrong shocker ????

What a load of bollox... the ACV doesn't stop Ken from selling the club or bringing in and investment... it just makes it difficult to use the stadium as collateral to some dodgy loan shark or even worse, waking up one morning to find out the stadium has been sold ...but not to worry, we can lease it back for 2m a year....

If he sells the club, by definition, he's selling the stadium too.

Does the ACV not apply in that case? There's every chance I've got the wrong end of the stick. If so, happy to be educated

How does bring in investment and not being able to use the stadium collateral work then seems at bit at odds with each other, but I'm sure you can explain it Josh

It doesn't work like that... Ken can sell the club, lock stock and Barrell today, this minute...its only if he wants to sell off the stadium as a seperete entity where the acv comes into effect... and even then...do you honestly think the ST would stand in the way of any billionaire who wanted to invest serious money into this club...?
