Winding Up Orders

Last I heard, it was court tomorrow

ST and Lies reported 3, including Heathcotes mob

KA said that was old news, leaving 2

Now, I can see HMRC is definitely a club issue, but the other is Sport Shield

If we assume KA can deal with HMRC debt - I'd have been happier if he had sorted that one already, tbf- that 'just' leaves SS and blumarble

If the court agrees to wind up SS, do we know what that means and also the impact on BWFC

Still never been answered how many supporters voted for this ACV?

As far as I can tell at the moment it’s a group of 5/6 that have made a decision that’s material to the club on behalf of 20,000+ fans.

Was a vote ever conducted? What was the % for and what was the total turnout?

  • Author

So, to clarify

The ACV doesnt stop him selling everything tomorrow without telling anybody?

However, if he wants to sell just the ground, then he's subject to a 6 month delay?

That's very odd

I think its good

What do you think is good

If it's as I understand it, it's ridiculous

It doesn't work like that... Ken can sell the club, lock stock and Barrell today, this minute...its only if he wants to sell off the stadium as a seperete entity where the acv comes into effect... and even then...do you honestly think the ST would stand in the way of a ching a ling who wanted to invest serious money into this club...?

You sure about that?

Because having a quick read it certainly doesn't read that way to me.

And it aint just the trust that can get involved

Its good because we don't want anybody selling the club assets off... I want the club to always own their own ground...why would we want to sell it to rent it back...would you sell your house and  rent it back ?

If the alternative was being homeless, I'd not rule anything out

What about you

I'd be quite happy to do equity release,

What do you think is good

If it's as I understand it, it's ridiculous

So we can sell to someone that can take it further, but not so easily to sell it separately to lose our only asset. Not sure what's not to like?
  • Author

We can sell it to somebody who cant 'take it further' as well

But only if we sell all of it (otherwise it takes 6 months)

Only asset?

We have plenty assets

Only one has a (practically worthless) ACV

This sounds like bollocks and needs professionally qualifying.

There's me taking the word of a ST board member at face value

It all sounds very odd, if not unworkable

Some of the stuff on here is petty point scoring .

In my unbiased world (don't say naive cos you all have your agendas)

I think it's a reasonable hurdle for Ken to negotiate given his business

Prowess.

So from what you are saying Anderson could also sell off the ownership of the club BUT retain the ownership of the ground!

The new club owner would then pay rent to Anderson to play at the Macron which he would still own.

If so please explain to us once again how having an ACV on the ground would prevent the club having to pay rent to someone else to play at the Macron?

Or are you simply making things up to fit your ST stance?

Overheard some guy before the game last week saying he’d heard that Eddie Davies is lending Ken money every month, and Ken is paying back when he can.

Don’t like spreading this nonsense and I don’t even know the guy, so please consider this info less plausible than what you’d hear in the boozer.

Regardless of what the case is, we know we’re skint and I’m happy so long as we’ve got a club. Behind KA all the way as it stands. He’s done a great job thus far and hopefully he can move on from us happy that a deal is struck, the job is done and the club is in a better position for the long term.

Edit: In fact mods, I hate reading nonsense like this usually, and there’s enough doom-mongerers that you have to deal with. I don’t even believe the content in my post. Feel free to remove if it’s inappropriate.

It has been brought to my attention that I may have inadvertently used a racist comment on a previous post earlier this evening...

In a reply to Ziggy stardust post, where he used the terminology 'Ching a ling'  I repeated this and again used this term in a further post .

I've now been informed there is a story about to break that I'm actually a racist...! I'm pretty sure that this 'breaking news' is the work of Sluffy, who spends his every waking day pouring over my every word and move, looking and hoping to find something to discredit me with ... (you really do need to get a life) and who still hasn't got over the fact I found him out all those years ago... tut..tut..tut (by the way Sluffy...it wasn't actually me who pointed that domain name similar to your forum to the 'dwarf porn' site...!)

First of all...I'd never heard that term before and actually thought it meant a 'rich guy' and taken from the term 'Ca'ching' ...

Secondly... I was merely referring to Ziggies 'rich buyer' and had I had any inkling that it had any racist overtones or was detrimental in any shape or form..., I would not have repeated or used it... People who know me know I don't use that kind of terminology...

So I would like to take this oppotunity to apologise to all the rich bastards on here I may have inadvertently offended...

However.. I supose it stops me coming on here and lets you get on with ST bashing in peace...

Fair enough that the word was used by mistake.

Clearly you and Sluffy have some history but the response above is just childish. As do most of Sluffys comments to you and on the Trust generally.

Then your comment about bashing the ST. Clearly a lot of people on here do not agree with the AVC - personally I do not understand so have stayed off the debate. However surely you can see why people who have spent many years watching the club and are supporters in every sense have every right to challenge the legitimacy of the ST. As previously discussed the Board Members were elected unopposed , it would seem you are struggling to get people to stand in elections for this round.

I do think you are acting in what you think are the best interests of the supporters but if someone else does not they have every right to challenge you. Let’s be honest my dog has received as many votes as the whole ST Board combined.

Out of interest can you state what the ST position on the sale of the club is ? If KA sold for a massive profit would you think he has ripped the club off or would he deserve it for the work done since he took over ?

Either way he shouldn't be hanged for re-quoting someone else's comment, unless those hanging have warped brain and twisted agenda.

Eh?

Just for the record it wasn't me that complained about Smith/Josh8 being racist, if that is what you believed I did?

And my one and only post above is based on factual events - for example when Ron Noades the then owner of Crystal Palace sold the club to Mark Goldberg, but still kept ownership of the ground (Selhurst Park) - the exact same circumstances as I put to Smith in my question above.

If you're aiming those words at me - then once again you are miles wrong - I haven't made a complaint.

(although repeating/re-quoting racist comments is no defence whatsoever legally speaking).

Didnt do Whelan too much harm.

What, his chinky comments that caused him to retire and be classified as a senile wonky legged casual racist? Ok then.
