The police probably still don't know for definite what the fuck has happened. Ensuring the area is safe, treating casualties and identifying the dead will be the initial priority.

He was waiting for his wife and daughter and stood outside an inner set of swing doors, and was blown 30 feet to the next set of doors (I think).

Really shows up how ill informed news people are when they talk about a city you're familiar with. Total confusion for ages on both Sky and BBC about how close Arena is to Victoria, it's attached to it ffs. Somewhere else saying there'd be 30-40k in the Arena tonight as well, come on.

 

Seeing a lot of reports about people opening their doors to anyone lost/stranded tonight. Fine gestures those.
