Winchester White Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Ffs, we are in the realms of magic money tree again. When will people realise that we can't fund everything? I am sure the police will get more funding on the back of these atrocities but people have to realise that as a country we are spending more than we earn in tax rebate. Quote
Escobarp Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 (edited) I'm not sure that this counters my comment and shows that counter terrorism police numbers have been cut?? Unless I've missed tha fact Also we could have an extra 5000 armed police and I'm not sure it would stop these bastards. Point in question is the US where all officers or the majority are armed? Has this stopped extremist attacks there? Edited June 4, 2017 by Escobarp Quote
birch-chorley Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 A couple of hundred extra anti terror police wouldn't come to a huge amount in the grand scheme of the magic money tree Certainly a lot less than giving everyone full time public sector employee a minimum salary of £20k per year or the world and his wife an extra 4 days bank holiday a year Quote

miamiwhite Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Amidst all the arguments on here, all the money in the world being thrown at it, pulling out of overseas wars particularly in the Middle East, there is honestly not a lot we can do to prevent terrorism whether home grown or some pudding from overseas. We know who are responsible, they have a totally different mindset and different approach to life than we do. They honour and strive for death in martyrdom, whereas we value our "one go at life" We've had coke and ecstasy, fuck me pink, they must have rafts of magic water over there to believe in such brainwashing and doctrine. If someone is hellbent on meeting his/her maker much quicker than Allah planned then what can we do ? We could spend trillions on defending our national landmarks, places of interest etc, so their logical next step would be to attack smaller targets, thus showing they are not only willing to commit Jihad anywhere but also showing we're not safe anywhere. Radical Islam is an utter cancer in the modern world. I sincerely apologise to anyone on here who may be offended by my views, but just like nigh on a fortnight ago after the MEN Arena my blood is fucking boiling. This is my country. I love my country. I just cannot stand by and watch evil servile scum sponge endlessly off us, tell us what we can and can't do in my country of birth, they despise us and our way of life. They are not making jejune threats, it is real and on our doorsteps. I'm not scared one bit, but I honestly do fear for my child and future bloodline. Take care guys, our country isn't safe nor great anymore. Quote

Likewise the families of some of the victims who are there absolute hats off to them Quote
