DomRepWanderer Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 It was better but we still didn't score / lost again .....At least with a 2 week break there is time to sort a new manager and give him a week with the team. Thing is, who's out there that could give us a chance? not many would want an embarrasing relegation on their CV Quote

Adlington White Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Not advocating potting managers all of the time, but this isn't going to change under Parkinson unfortunately. This would be the ideal time to cut ties, couple of weeks to find a replacement and actually gives someone time to have a good go of it. Maybe the new manager effect may get something more out of them. Did what was asked of him last season, but time to move him on now IMO Quote

No one would expect the miracle, but would be happy to see improvements and some hope. Quote
enzo gambaro Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Looks a dive for the penalty but if you go to ground there you're asking for trouble. Could all have been avoided if Howard just catches it instead of flapping. Quote
captainmed Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Had one good chance in the 90th minute. Villa were awful but played within themselves IMO. They try their best but they're shit. Anyway we're off to a freshers party. Fuck the football. Quote
Blondi Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 I just don't think getting rid of Parky will keep us up, we're already doomed, might as well stick with him until the end of the season and take it from there. Quote
Spider Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 744 minutes. Even I'm finding it hard to defend him. And I love defending managers. Quote

barryk32 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 On way home. I am the fist to lose my rag if they don't care but that wasn't the case today. They tried their best but weren't good enough, which is fine, as long as you try. Quote
jules_darby Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Goal >>> http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/bolton-wanderers/11061454/aston-villa-1-0-boltonIf that section of play that led to the corner where we gave the pen away wasn't offside, then who the fuck played them on? It's hard to tell from that camera angle but if it wasn't off someone wants shooting That pen is coming from the second the ball comes in too. Was like Baptiste all over again Like other folk have said, can't be too disappointed at today in isolation; but there simply must be a change for us to have "any" chance of survival Thanks Parky but ta ta Quote
Zico Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Would of been harsh expecting a result or out out today Give him next home game it sounded better today If not then fire him Look at the table 2 weeks to prepare for 2 home games would be the best time to bring in someone new That said they'd need to have someone lined up, 2 home games under Phillips and Lee probably won't do much for us Leave it any longer and may as well not bother Pointless firing him at end of season or probably beyond October He might be able to get us back out of league one but we only just made it out last time and we'd be weaker next season Harsh but struggling to find a case for his defence Quote
CSBWFC Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Why did Howard punch the cross , it looked an easy catch. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 He looks younger than Captainmed Quote

Lostock Whites Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Parkinson is incredibly lucky to be our manager. Not many other clubs would tolerate no win in 11, no goals scored in 12 hours, and 8 consecutive losses, etc. No money or not, that can't really be accepted. Looking very grim, could be setting all kinds of records, for the wrong reasons. It's crazy, as we weren't that far off Sheffield United last season in the head to head matches. And we did the double against millwall and finished further ahead of them. Yet they are both having a much better season. Sorry to be so negative, but that's the only energy I feel from Bolton at the moment, Quote

white noise Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 No longer about saving money by not having to pay him off, we simply cannot wait any longer. He is pretty abject and that must be feeding through to the players. Change now, change formation and a January transfer window and you just never know. Quote

marple whites Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Stark facts, 0 wins from 10, can't score and 2 wins adrift. Hopeless, even if we have played better over last few games. Goal scorer on the bench again.......... Quote
