Is yellowhammer really just a 5 page document?

They could have fit it onto 2 pages if they’d used a pen instead of crayons.

The irony of the real Project Fear being written by the winners is breathtaking.

Reading my mams Daily Mail in hospital today about Labour taking us back to 70s, a really nostalgic read, i loved those times.

Aye.....garbage filling the streets, nationwide strikes, Van der Valk and Galloping Gourmet via torchlight, football on Wednesday afternoons, beer at a farthing a gill.....what’s not to like.

The innovation of Sunday football on the dullest day of the week on those days in early 74.

Not at all. Moon Boy is a bit thick though, you only need to see how he keeps asking the same ridiculous question (why isn't there a GE on 15th October), and clearly he doesn't understand the current process, hence many of his misinformed posts. Although in fairness, he said he didn't have a TV or read newspapers, so he's probably relying on information from on here which can on occasion be ridiculous (from both sides)

Brexit won't be stopped, it's going to happen, but why the rush, let Parliament do is thing and at some point we'll be out. It might take 2 months, it might take a further two years, but it'll happen. We know it's being held back by the HoC, and we'll have an opportunity to change who sits in there soon enough.

Fair enough Sweep. That post sounds very much like the voice of reason and I sincerely hope that you are right. One thing is for certain - the next GE will certainly be a fascinating one. May even generate a bigger turnout than the 2016 referendum.

The technological solution to the border problem could be to fit each citizen of N.I. and the Republic with those sci-fi exploding decapitation collars...like in Arnie's 'Running Man' - any shenanigans with Liberian refugees, untaxed tobacco, armalites or bootleg Beamish on the border and the tech kicks in and delivers swift immediate justice.

Surely you don’t agree with the first paragraph though?

The original project fear was produced by the government and distributed at tax payers expense to every home in the U.K. and still we voted to leave. It’s beyond ridiculous that the likes of Corbyn want to recall parliament, what for? They don’t want an election, they don’t want a referendum before the next election, they’ve stopped no deal, what’s the point in  going back? Perhaps need to claim some expenses, what a set of utter wankstains they are.

You'll have to explain to me why the government would even need to produce this document - let alone attempt to hide it from public view - if it's just a fictional piece of fearmongering?

Are you genuinnely of the opinion that the 1st of November would pass calmly and seamlessly in the event of No Deal?

Every matrix sign on motorways up and down the country is already warning truckers to expect disruption.

If we hold all the cards, I'm getting the impression that the other players have left the game or gone and bought better cards.

Government need to plan worse case scenario to then mitigate the issues, the government now planning and spending money to mitigate any potential issues, yet again Labour complain how much is being spent on this, the Labour Party are not fit for purpose and the people know this judging on their polling ratings. Finally do you remember the planning that went into the Millenium bug? All sorts of fears were voiced by government, non came true.

So that our sovereign parliament, the one you so desperately wanted, can do it's job.

Now you seem happy for one man to close it down.

Just be honest, you do not care about democracy, just leaving the EU at whatever cost to the economy.

Fair play - no I don't. I was referring to his second paragraph and should have deleted the first.

It has become the norm to question the intelligence of all Leavers with the exact same arrogance that Parliament applies to the voters (until the fuckers need us of course then they are vitally interested in us, right down to our haemorrhoid problems) in ignoring the will of the people for their own self serving interests.

Remember the 'thick, owd, racist cunts' label from the day after the referendum? I am sure Sweep has just fallen into that trap.

I do wish they'd fuck off with this 'holding all the cards' bollocks. As ridiculous as claims of a 'cliff edge', 'Brexit Crisis' and all the other Project Fear nonsense being spouted by scaremongers. As October 31st approaches, they will become as shrill and deranged as Salford Trotter has been since 2016.

What are they going to do that they’ve not done for 3 years? Perhaps labour will sing a song with the SNP and Plaid Cymru, it’s pathetic.

Another round of the 'Red Flag' wouldn't go amiss just to remind the voting public why they must never be allowed anywhere near government in their current form.

If it’s true that the recent bill to stop no deal Brexit will be useless because EU law trumps U.K. law and because we’ve not rescinded article 50 and that means we have leave on the 31st then what a delicious irony that will be and the screeching from remainers will reach fever pitch, especially when on Nov 1st everything carries on just as normal.

You need to go and look up the meaning of the word democracy (a system of government through elected representatives).

When the elected representatives cannot deliver on what the people voted for then it is no longer a government and democracy is failed, that the opposition would not take the offer of a GE means democracy currently is on hold.

No, no, no

you don’t understand

The definition of democracy is framed the person claiming that the other side is denying democracy
