And you’d believe a representative of a rotten, undemocratic, foreign power over your own country?

What's your shitty stick response

Erm..

In your opinion

I’m as entitled to an opinion as you are. And I cannot see that as anything other than a pitch for petty nationalism the likes of which we’ve seen many times before and will again. But one that ultimately will never prevail.

As soon as people describe widespread social changes as liberal thought police I know how far the rabbit hole they’ve gone down and how pointless it is delving down said hole.

Thankfully in the next decade this sorry debacle will be overwritten and the country will come together again.

You talk a different language. Woolly, esoteric liberal nonsense that has no relevance to the real world. You're in the hole - an undemocratic hole entirely of you're own making. And you're still digging.

Three years denying democracy. Three years effectively trying to overturn a clear referendum result. Three years lecturing people telling them they didn't know what was in their own minds when they voted in 2016. Three years waffling on about fake news while airbrushing the long list of blatant lies spoken by George Osborne and Mark Carney. Three years of an airy superiority complex. People have gradually got ever more angry in response to this. Instead of perhaps displaying some humility and self analysis and responding accordingly (implementing what we voted for would help) what do we get from our liberal political elite? We get more of the same. Lectures from people telling us what words we can and cannot use (parliament today). Selective interpretations of what democracy actually is, denial of the fact that sovereignty lies with the people and the verdict in the referendum. Complete failure to understand that politicians serve people, not the other way round. It is the same pompous liberally intolerant politically correct crap that is driving a good deal of the anger being expressed in the first place.

When it was the Poll Tax, the Poll Tax got scrapped and Margaret Thatcher had to go. Where's the accountability now for entrenched democracy denying liberal remainers? Well ... eventually it'll be through the ballot box. Except of course they are trying to stave that off too. They are the modern day equivalent of King Canute trying to hold back the waves. Blocking Brexit. Seeking to marginalise conservatism. The liberal hegemony of the 1990s and 2000s is gone. The more you squawk the more we know you are struggling with that.. Conservatism (small c and big) and belief in nation state democracy is back. In the words of our dearly beloved Speaker - our views "will be heard", and ultimately there is nothing illiberal liberal autocrats and their thought police mentality can do to stop it.

Spot on Paul.

The complete irony of those fools calling us racists, fascists, thick northern folk for three years then crying when humbug and surrender is used.

What does Jo Swinson like to say ? Bollocks to Brexit.

How classy and forgetful of that ‘lady’

Double standards and hypocrisy at every turn. Pickled in their own sense of superiority. We have well and truly got their number now though. The performance we've had over the last three years is never going to be forgotten and will live in infamy in the history of this nation. This is the era when the self proclaimed progressive liberals were smoked out as illiberal autocratic democracy deniers.

It is also a fact that st believes the EU over his own government.

That's his choice of course.

I’m not sure there is anyone in the world I believe less than our current government....

Of course. Trump, Putin, any cunt in charge of a middle Eastern country, Corbyn etc. All virtuous folk.

Our mon is of course Hitler reincarnated.

Anyway, this fella is hinting it might get a lot worse.

Interesting to hear the junior minister in parliament answering repeated questions on whether the government would abide by the Benn ruling, repeatedly he stated that the government will abide by the law.

I’m convinced that Johnson is thinking that because we have not revoked article 50 and that EU law supersedes U.K. law and we must leave on October 31st and he can ignore the Benn ruling.
