Blocking Brexit. Seeking to marginalise conservatism. The liberal hegemony of the 1990s and 2000s is gone. The more you squawk the more we know you are struggling with that.. Conservatism (small c and big) and belief in nation state democracy is back. In the words of our dearly beloved Speaker - our views "will be heard", and ultimately there is nothing illiberal liberal autocrats and their thought police mentality can do to stop it.

Interesting to hear the junior minister in parliament answering repeated questions on whether the government would abide by the Benn ruling, repeatedly he stated that the government will abide by the law.

I’m convinced that Johnson is thinking that because we have not revoked article 50 and that EU law supersedes U.K. law and we must leave on October 31st and he can ignore the Benn ruling.
