I imagine silence as always. Where’s the fun in that? You keep ‘educating’ me, I’ll continue to be a sarcy twat. I once turned a 10k demo account into 20k. Never had the balls to try it for real yet. Not my party. Never belonged to a party in my life. Edited October 17, 2019 by mickbrown Quote

It won’t get voted through, I said it months ago, we’re leaving with no deal . The EU27 will sanction an extension if it were requested Quote
Spider Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 I believe Royal was getting giddy and suggesting the deal was causing a massive and unassailable upswing for sterling. For balance, he was bang wrong. As you were an' that. Quote

It wasn’t an attempt at education you, it was just a throwaway comment, lost in translation on the net. Anywya, how could I possibly educate a know it all like you Good work on the demo acct, though trust me, when it’s actual funds you’re playing with, one is not as quick to press the button to retreaded then. Nagging doubts with real funds suddenly come into your head. Quote

If then dropped somewhat upon the DUP saying no. Some folk will have made plenty. Quote

Bit their patience is wearing thin, one EU bod was saying if an extension was to be granted, they would need evidence that it would achieve something rather than kicking the issue down the road. Juncker isn't averse to saying stuff off the cuff, but his comments would carry some weight in EU circles you would imagine. Quote
Spider Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 The £33billion divorce bill seems to have gone unmentioned. That's really showing them who's boss. Quote
Spider Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 On an "how will it effect real people" note, this: But Northern Ireland will also remain an entry point into the EU's customs zone. The UK will not apply tariffs to products entering Northern Ireland as long as they are not destined for onward transportation across the border What is to stop UK businesses who export to RoI from simply delivering to an NI address, then forwarding goods unchallenged into the republic using this method? It's a rhetorical question, silly billy. There's fuck all they can do. And rest assured that our mates over there already know this and the border bandits are about to make a killing. Probably literally once this all gets going. Of course, it's abroad, so it doesn't matter to us, so we can ignore it. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 Saved 6 billion? Anyway; Phillipe Lamberts, Belgian MEP, just said something interesting: some issues like rights have been put into the document outlining trade deal discussions. He also said Corbyn wouldn't have got a withdrawal agreement much different to Boris. Quote

From what was being said earlier, there will be checks at ports in NI, and also tariffs charged will be subject to being refunded where they remain in NI. Suggests money has to be paid upfront, which should stop what you were suggesting. Quote
