She says that she wants to join the EU, whether they let her in is another matter.

She detests England.

We detest the EU.

So much that we essentially told them to fuck off.

Nationalism it may be, but it applies in all cases.

What's their name stand for ? I think that gives a big clue.

The word she tries to hide?

Why is she bothering at all though?

What's in it for her if she does? Has Scotland been short changed or something?

She would argue it is about transparency so people know when they will get a vaccine. See the link from Sky from last time she released the information

Honestly no idea why she is doing it. Figures up there show roughly 400k of vaccines haven't been given out yet. Friends there are baffled by it.

Nationalism is generally defined as :

identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.”

Yes, we voted leave as we identified with our own nation, but not to the detriment or exclusion or the interests of other nations.

As you know, the EU isn’t a nation anyway.

Some people seem to spend their entire lives wishing they could have lived through WW2, so they project imaginary war scenarios onto current events. It is very odd, but it's easy to understand how it happens when you look at the front pages of the tabloids every single day.

How is scottish independence to the detriment or exclusion of other nations?

It isn’t independence she’s after

“Should Scotland be an independent country ?”

The exact words on the referendum

If Scotland were to leave, it would, in my emotional viewpoint, a loss to our nation.

A fundamental part of Britain.

But which she constantly moaned that she doesn’t want.

She moans about everything, though.

Youre just being contrary now. You aren’t @Cheese, you know!

On that we absolutely agree.

I just find it odd that when scotland have a referendum on leaving an alliance, it is feverish nationalism.

When the UK have one, it’s not.

I already outlined my views on how that might be different for some/many people.

i love Scotland.

A bit less than I used to, I just hope that they wake up. But, if they want to leave, then they should. Rather than being conned.

We wanted to leave a failing trading bloc. Scotland wants to leave for separatist reasons.

Have a look back at that word BD and myself mentioned last night or the night before, comes in handy at times 😉

What word?

And before you invite me to, no I won’t crawl back through 80 pages of the shit.

So Scottish Nationalism = Bad.

British nationalism = Good

Not quite true.

They want independence.

There is no guarantee they would join the EU (which will be a defunct entity in a few years anyway, by some accounts).

Independence is independence regardless of who you wish to separate from. America. Former Soviet states. Former Yugoslav states.

All wanted sovereignty and the ability to self govern.

Brexit, as defined by itself, was the same.

Nationalism is “bad”

Ergo, Brexit is “bad”

Just maybe, nationalism is too strong a definition for either.

arrogantly she believes we will Be accepted into the EU as a country with no issue. If the EU said now, today, it’s a complete no go. She wouldnt back off I’m in no doubt but Because the cannot sustain itself and would be bankrupt it would become clear to more than enough people and I think the support would die off sufficiently to dampen the flames.

she is, As I’ve highlighted many times and as some others have also, totally anti English. That’s her key driver. ABE

Well, there is also the lineage from the Scottish Enlightenment, which I'm sure she'd say the SNP was carrying the intellectual torch and the thoughts from people like Tom Nairn.

When people said 'why' Leavers voted Leave they were slagged off for assuming the reasons.
You mean Sturgeon wants to Leave for separatist reasons, plenty of others may have other reasons.
