This is a cracking short read from a Yes voter regarding both sides.

Echoes quite a bit of your sentiments 👍

Are you....are you endorsing someone who voted one way but has the intelligence and foresight to recognise that such things are rarely so binary?

If so, I will thank you now and ask politely that you point Bolts, Mounts,  Royal, Diver and Handley in this direction. Let them see for themselves that one of their team understands how complex and layered political situations can cause one to become skeptical over a period of time.

Thank you Miami. Thank you 👏

This nationalism debate is quite interesting, there are indeed parallels between Scottish independence and brexit, and differing levels of nationalism between individuals.

Arguing about it is somewhat moot though: both have been subject to votes and it was accepted by the snp that the independence referendum was a once in a generation opportunity.

So they need to crack on managing their economy etc in such a way as to ensure they win a subsequent one in a couple of decades time.

Rather fascinating newspaper review last night with Digby Jones and another chap.

Unusually, both men were in agreement and were highly critical of the behaviour of the EU over the vaccine issue. Similarly with the criticism of SNP, and Jones' comments about Sturgeon were eye opening and beyond what I would expect any such "pundit" to say.

Don't know if video is available, but worth a watch if it is.

This is a video some Nationalists have hastily deleted 😄

Do you think the argument about Europe would have gone away if we had voted and stayed in?

These things are never moot points.

There have been 2 votes in the UK Leave won. In Scotland Remain won. Neither argument went away.

We were told this is  only because it is whining Lefties, the The Don came along and disproved that.

The fact is losing a vote does not change people's views.

I know, that's what I was saying (with fewer words 😉)

I was taking your theoretical point and making it relate to recent events. 😘😇

No one had claimed it changes views; it may even strengthen them in some cases.

Thats completely misses the point: democracy was enacted, and prattling on, going against your own stipulated policy doesn't change that.

She isn't getting another vote.

No but rather than moan about it do something to change it. Ive said if Scotland votes to leave the uk I will move to England or possibly somewhere else depending on work opportunities.

I struggle to see why people would sit and moan about something. They don’t have to stay somewhere they don’t want to be and Moan like fuck. Change it or be quiet.

To moan is to avoid responsibility

Politics Clayton Donaldson.

Should let them join the EU mate, they're tailor made for each other.

Sturgeon is no doubt costing up to them as she knows she's a busted flush now, and the EU have a track record of giving jobs to failed politicians 😉 😀
